Info on K2 Skinny

My first alpine board was one of these, and I still have it. It’s somewhat stiff (for me at 155lbs) and has a nice sidecut radius. However it (mine at least) doesn’t have very good edge hold. In hero snow it’s a great board and will lay out some pretty impressive carves. In ice or chalk it kind of sucks, and you really have to commit to initiate a turn or else it will wash out.

I still get mine out on days with fresh snow. With the wider waist and the comparatively big nose roll it does well in snow that my other boards would pearl in.

Plus the cool pointy nose gets lots of looks in the liftline.
