D.T. Posted December 26, 2007 Report Share Posted December 26, 2007 I shattered my ulna just below the elbow. Wound up with 13 screws and a 9-inch long plate. The plate was extremely temperature/pressure sensitive; the pain was so intense that it made me sick to my stomach and I felt like puking when it acted-up. Needless to say, I harassed to doctor to remove it as soon as he though it was healed/safe. All I have left are three screws as muscle had grown back over the top of them.
