newcarver
Need a pair of boots in decent condition on the cheap. Just getting started and trying to find some gear so I can ride. I measured my foot and I think I need a 25.5 mondo. I wear a size 8.5 US. Please e-mail me at jenintmk3@yahoo.com if you have any for sale. RDY_2_Carve
Make sure you get the correct size boots. They are the most important part of your HB setup IMHO. If you get boots too big you'll really be sorry! And obviously too small boots won't work at all.
newcarver
Foot came out to 25.56 cm long. So I need whatever size this comes out to. Thanks for the info.
LCENTENO
mY BOOTS ARE A 25.5, AND i WEAR A MENS SZE 7, AND THESE BOOTS ARE PRETTY SNUG. SO MAKE SURE WHAT YOU ARE ASKING FOR, EST BET GO TO A SKI SHOP AND TRY ON SOME SKI BOOTS TO MAKE SURE ABOUT THE SIZE. REMEMBER THE SHELLS FIT A RANGE OF LINER SIZES, BUT YOU HAVE TO GET THE RIGHT LINER SIZE.
newcarver
Thanks for the info. I'm purchasing some Burtons from a guy that are 26-26.5. I think these are going to work for me.

Mike T
.... I wear a men's size 9 shoe and find that anything larger than a 25cm shell is too big. Granted I use thermoflex liners which favor sizing down as opposed to sizing up. Have you read this yet? http://www.bomberonline.com/store/boots/Sizing_boots.pdf
RDY_2_Carve
The FOOT TRACE method DOES NOT WORK!!! You have to do a shell test!!! Two fingers w/o the liners in the shells seems to be the best test for boot fitting.
pebu
I also had my feet measured at a little over 27 (half a cm difference between the two) and I wear 26 boots comfortably. The liners are intuition I believe and I think they're m27 though. But my goodness, with the exception of my hiking boots (I've been breaking in for about 5 years), they're the most comfortable boots I've ever owned.
