Mike T
Mt Bachelor starts going into Spring Mode tomorrow. Details here: http://www.mtbachelor.com/winter/services/springsched.html Summary: Either Outback *or* Northwest, and Summit *or* Rainbow, open. until April 22 . (If ths weather is good, it will generally be Summit and NW and if the weather is bad, it will generally be Rainbow and Outback) April 23rd on: Summit and Pine Marten Skyliner; skyliner as well on the last weekend in April; usually Northwest stays open the last weekend in April too So, if you come visit, do not expect all the lifts to be running. $33 lift tickets starting on 4/23 with shortened hours. At that point in the season, Timberline is probably a better bet unless you want to get Slushie runs off cirque which can be a lot of fun. Galen
Thanks Mike. Do you know when they shut down the Sunrise lodge?
Mike T
Thanks Mike. Do you know when they shut down the Sunrise lodge? My guess would be that 4/22 is the last day for Sunrise, based on last year.

Mike T
I have the week off and will be riding at least 5 of the next 7 days. Shorter hours (probably 8 - 1) go in effect Monday 4/23. There were some awesome groomers to be had this AM, 19*, the Skyliners runs were firm and smooth.
Galen
Mike, you know what lifts will be open the week after next? Have a 4 day slot and am weighing my options.
Mike T
Mike, you know what lifts will be open the week after next? Have a 4 day slot and am weighing my options. Definitely Pine Marten and Summit - possibly Northwest.
P06781
Definitely Pine Marten and Summit - possibly Northwest. Coming down for weekend of 4-28 for a work meeting at sunriver. Plan to ride sunday or monday if its worth it. Jim
Mike T
Bachelor has gone to "Summit Season" schedule. Details here: http://www.mtbachelor.com/winter/services/springsched.html Summary: Pine Marten open 8:00 - 1:00 till Memorial Day Summit "weather permitting" 8:00 - 1:00 till Memorial Day Northwest 8:00 - 1:00 till April 29 Tickets are $33.00 Losing NW after one more week is a bummer because Kangaroo is usually the best carving run this time of year. Last year they groomed Beverly Hills, Skyliner, Old Skyliner, TBird, and Leeway every day, and sometimes Coffee and Upper Chipper. (Upper Chipper got very little use last year but it's a lot of cat-track riding to get there and back...)

Mike T
Bachelor now says their last day is Sunday 5/20 instead of Monday 5/28. LAME
Galen
That's what I've always hated about season pass's. Once the day users are gone, they wont stay open as a courtesy to season pass holders 89-120", and they're closing 5/20 ? Poor show.
