crucible
The other place to check out would be Escape Route in the Whistler Market Square. Other then these three, the rest is just high ticket souvenir ville. George
sleevez
Thanks for the info, wish I could have room to bring a board back from prior ;) but since we are driving back to toronto. And we only have a civic. Thx again.
mr_roboteye
I'm pretty sure Chris would be happy to ship to you.
mr_roboteye
I dropped by Fanatyk Co on Saturday (21st.) and they have about five prior decks and a couple pairs of Cateks' and thats about it. Never saw any boots. They might have some new decks in by the time you get there though. Definitely stop by prior snowboards down in Function junction. later, Dave R. mr_roboteye
Everything is good in Whistler! Except for all the zipperhead jibbers that work at showcase snowboards. Dave R.
philw
As above, mostly it's fashion shops with very high markups. All owned by the same conglomerate. You're generally better shopping just about anywhere else. Unless you have staff discount of course ;-) But Fanatyk is the only place I know there for any sort of hard gear - one of the chaps actually rides alpine. Otherwise the prior shop has lots of alpine boards and sells bindings too. Sometimes Fanatyk has hard boots in too. And of course their service is good, the owner cares, and they will ship if you need it. It also used to benefit from being practically next to "behind the grind", but now they moved the coffee... :-(
