  1. hey if you guys get a chance check out bellayre. even less crowded and quite carve friendly cheaper too!!
  2. how ya doin i think i met ya the other day at roundtop and i just wanted to apologize for being so cheezy. i was kinda frustrated w/ my new boots but good news went to whitetail today with a more forgiving weapon and ripped almost like i used to (cept a little fatter) you were right about using my ankles more i guess i just was used to so many years in my raichles that i expected to hop on that yacht i was riding and feel instant gratification from the heads. anyway just didnt want ya to think i was a dick!! mike ps do you have a normal sched. at roundtop ( it'd be nice to ride w/ someone in the know)
  3. telemark in cable wisconsin is snoboard only
  4. ill be their on friday roundtop on sat sun mon and whitetail on tues (if my legs last that long!!!)
  5. ill be 33 in january been riding since i was 14 still got one of the first backhills and a woody along w/ a ton of old alpine boards (apocalypse,hot,k2,agression,hooger,heavy tools, oxygen, mistral, and some semi current burtons)
  6. i had em too almost as cool as the first burton mgx boots!!!
  7. no way man i tele w/ linkens and even if you did put them on a board and use telemark boots and somehow hold the heel down you would rip right out of them
  8. none of my plates are intec so i guess the fit problem wouldnt matter right?
  9. thanx i heard about the dalbellos i just wonder if its the same deal as when kneisel bought the mold a few years back . i got a pair of those w/ thermoflex liners and they hurt more than my orginals thats why i was thinking either heads or upz instead i guess i just got fatter or at least my feet did!!!
  10. thanx guys i think ive narrowed it down to head or upz . im not super concerned about fitting tds cuz i still have a bunch of burton race plates w/metal discs as far as liners go im used to the torture chambers that came w/my original flexons 10years ago (i bought 3 pairs) so i think anything would be better i figured id avoid indys cuz the straps look cheesy and i read that for a so called race boot the cuff is too low and no power strap. my flexons are tall narrow and painful but back in the day there was no snowboard boot that could compare sorry if im a little dated i guess i need to graduate from the old school
  11. thanx i was thinking the indys but the heads seemed to get better reviews although not as stiff. have you seen or used the upz boots? i found them in canada for 399 but cant seem to find a review
  12. i guess my main concern is that anything i get is gonna feel like mush compared to the flexons. i havn't used actual snowboard hardboots since like 92 or before and at the time i was told that they were holding me back( too soft for the then agressive stance i was riding) also im not exactly a small guy (6ft3 250lbs) im also not mr hardcore racer anymore however i still ride quite a bit different than the average joe on the local ski hill
  13. hi all looking for some help with a boot update. been riding plates for 15 plus years and my last pair of flexon comp 9.9s has finally given up (yes i know ski boots) my question is are any snowboard hardboots avilable now (indy head upz) even close to the same feel as my trusty green monsters thanx for the help mike
  14. hey man ill pay 300$ if you have no other takers
