I know this is a site dedicated to snowboarding, but I will post this anyways...
I have a pair of very good condition Bonna Modell 2000's. (They are very old wooden skis from about 30 years ago). I have searched the internet and have had no hits regaurding how much they are worth. Does anybody know. I'm hoping their worth a bit so I can fund new boots and bindings :)
Are they still available?
If so, I'm very interested. The breakage problem is not much of a problem because I only weight 115.
Let me know Teamzoxracing@gmail.com
oooh, nice. I like AXE's. That will probably be one of my next boards. (isn't that an AXE II?)
Since last night, I'm also having Fatboy (http://www.longboardsbyfatboy.com/) build me an 80+ inch board very similiar to what I am currently building, only it's going to have nice stringers and be a very nice looking board...

Since it's summer, I am sure that many people's attention has shifted to skateboarding, whether it be street, vert, soulboarding, carving, downhill racing, sloloming, or the many other disciplines.
Here is a thread to show off your summertime rides.
The media has gotten better about snowboarding though. In last weeks (or 2 weeks ago i dont remember cause we just got them yesterday cause we were out of town) NEWSWEEK there is a 2 page picture of boardercross, with a hardbooter in it:1luvu:
Yah, nobody near me sells them. EXCEPT, my local windsurfing/kiteboarding/skateboarding/snowboarding store actually had one! it's like a 160 deep deep powder carver though, and they bought it cause they thought it looked cool and wanted it for decoration...
Sean White is amazing i think. He's just 19, yet he's already a millionare superstar;yet he's still so mellow. Take somebody like Bode Miller. now compare him with Sean. So what if he wears a bandana. I think he's being patriotic....
i used to be a Flight Simmer, but my laptop just can't handle it, and i can think of pleanty of better things to spend my money on then a new computer. so i stopped.
This is a part of an article from the Detroit News on p.2 of the Sports Section for Tuesday. Read on...
Click here for the the whole article. (i only included the parts having to do with snowboarding)
haha, well i wasnt pointing it out for, u, i was doing it for the other people because that old one had alot of stories about them that they might like
Yah, as i sayed in the other post, it's way fun.
Theres no question that kiteboarding out of the water is a ton more dangerouse. I would love to water kiteboard, especailly cause i live on fairly good sized lake; but water equipments costs soooo much more. The kites need to be inflatable so it doesnt sink....
i dont ride the mountain board with the kite down a mountain. We have a community college near our house with big long open grass....
We started out with slingshot's practice kites, on iceskates on our lake. WAY FAST!
Unfortunatly last winter we didnt have time to kiteboard on our lake with a snowboard, and this year, due to the warm weather, the lake still hasn't forzen:mad:
oh well, thats why u need more then one sport...
i used to skateboard on halfpipes and such (i was very good at it 2) but i switched to just riding my dad's longboard a few years ago. I dunno what model but it's a gravity, i'd say 4"5 ish. It's fun to ride though
As for your wind road surfing...
we use our kiteboarding kites on our mountain boards....now thats the way to do it:biggthump
