Hey everybody! I've been on this forum lurking for a while, only posting when I have something really important to say, nonetheles... I'm in the Never Summer All Season Shredder Constest, a contest which awards the biggest ass (all season shredder) both an amazing Never Summer longboard, and snowboard! (more info here) The way the contest works is you make a video of you snowboarding, skateboarding, surfing, etc, and upload it to a thread on silverfishlongboarding . Once the deadline is met, the winner is decided by votes. I'm asking if you guys could help me by voting for me! Here's the catch, you have to make an account with silverfishlongboarding.com , but hey, it's a terriffic forum anyways so... I realize I'm not amazing at carving, but I love it reguardless. If you could just take the time to watch my video, I'd be very happy! The deadline to submit is 1-15, and I guess afterwards they'll give more info on exactly how to vote, which I'll pass on to you guys. Thanks a ton! Anyways, this is what I have posted over there:

haha, thanks. How'd you know I was doing aviaion? Even though I had some great runs I was still kind of bummed. I was at PK for the night session last night (Jan 3), I also boarded with Sidewinder for a bit. It was cccooolllddd! 16 degrees out with a windchill of 6! The snow was so fast though. The combination of the freshly waxed board, and the super fast snow made for a great session. This was only my 2nd time out this year, but towards the end of the night, I was laying out toesides so nicely. I forgot how much fun the 1/4 mile is. Well it's back to college now for me, goodbye PK, Hello Bittersweet.

Mt Holly was supposed to be today, but a kid I was going with couldn't go because his mommy said it was too dangerouse of a drive. We're going tomorrow though, although I haven't decided where. Did Mt Holy raise it rates?! 35 bucks:nono:

Well I just might have to give it another chance! To be fair, it was getting dark out when i visited. And it wasn't the program that turned me off, it was the fact that I never saw the hill.

I went to a meeting at TR about instructing, and I was in the lodge and coudln't see the hill! It was a turnoff, but mabye I'll give it another chance.

I'm from the east side, but go to Western...I got the ski club pass to bittersweet so I should be there a bit.

The weather isn't going to be too good :( Low of only 34!!! Count me out... Hopefully we'll get a major blizzard next tuesday (2 for 2 lift tickets day) :)

I was planning on going to Mount Holly this morning, but my lil brother who I was taking slept in :( So we ended up going to the afternoon/night session....BIG MISTAKE! It was terrible there. All clumbs and bumps of poweder, they never re-groomed, even though they closed for "re-grooming"...and it was incredibly crowded. Still better then not going though :)

I've been there a few times this season...hopefully I'll get to go again before all the snow mets If you see me, I'll be on a Oxygen Proton (red) 149, with softboots, and a yellow helmet...gotta be safe ;)

Oh I agree, I was just expressing my frustration with my equipment ;)

what about carving in softboots that dont fit, with low quality step in binding ...that's gotta effect the carve some way.
