Hey what kind of boots are the Schoch and some of the other riders wearing? Anyone have any idea?
-
I think the Woman's qualifiers are on late on Thursday. After midnight I think. I guess at that point then they are on Friday morning but I digress. Nonetheless, I am DVRing them so I can see them.
I'll have to check my Olympic schedule that is on my coffee table at home to be sure though.

I'm not sure why my hyperlink wasn't working but it's been removed and the web site for the pictures has been listed. Sorry about that.

I have a pair of Burton Fire shells in a MP 27.5-28.0 that are in good condition. They will fit 27.5mm to 28.4mm feet with the proper liners. I guess Burton boots fit feet narrow so that is also something to consider. Overall they are in good condition. There are scratches on them from use but all the buckles and plastics are in good condition. No cracks on them. The heels are brand new but the toe pads have some wear from use.
Pictures of them are located here: http://www.bogeydog.net/pics/album21
I am looking for $80 plus shipping. I think I can get them to the lower 48 for $15.
Please email me at ben -at- bogeydog -dot- net if you are interested in them.
Thanks,

At least someone brought a camera, I think I can see some of Geoff's trenches.
Pouring rain here right now, We definetly got the best day of the week. My body also feels like I jumped out of a moving car. Hope you all feel the same.
Eric
Glad to hear that you feel as beat up as the rest of us. You and Kathy are like the enegizer bunny. You kept going and going and going...
It's too bad that Bob HAD to ride in 10" of fresh yesterday huh? Bastard!

I think I'll survive the crash but thanks for thinking of me and my skirt. You know I look damn sexy in it.
I have to agree with you. I hope Bob had spectatuclar day cause he missed a good one here today.
No problem on the board. Enjoy and let me know what you think. You may want to put some weights in your pocket so you can weigh in at the fat ass level of myself. No worries on the binding marks it's gonna happen.

Killer day for sure. Excellent crew.
Too bad the video from the AM did not come out. I do have some great stuff from the second round though. I'll play with the editing and send off clips to those I was able to get on film.
I'm flying home from CO on the 22nd, so I'm not sure if I'll make the 23rd or not, but I'll try.
Good to meet a few new people. You should come out more often.
Good to get on the hill with Jack too. Hope the trip from ME was worth it.
TrailerTrash has stepped it up a big notch this year. Very nice.
Ben, How's the ankle this AM? You looked like you picked right up from last year.
Hope to see y'all soon.
Ankle's not too bad. Friday it was quite sore. But then the rest of me was pretty sore too. Three days laters it's pretty much back to normal though. I'm gonna head out next weekend too see how it goes.

kinda curious why the top part is threaded so far down...I mean...would you ever compress the springs that much?
Probably not but you could run another short spring on top if you wanted to. I think the idea behind the BTS is not to limit what you can do with it. You can mix and match spring stiffnesses for both toe and heelside as well. It's really a versitile design.
My only reservation about them at this point is that I'm not sure that I can change the heelside spring without removing them from the boot. I haven't tried, but it looks like it would be tough. I don't want to be removing and putting them on too much. I'm sure that the hole that holds the pins in would get beat up pretty quickly.

These are not the speed models. They are version previous to the speed with but are grey in color. Right now I'm not interested in any trades. Unless you have a 27 Thermoflex you want to trade.
Thanks,

The center disk on the TD2 is anodized aluminium which is a little grippy compared with plastic or stainless steel center disks.
