  1. How do you explain how quickly some drugs get into the marketplace, then destroy many lives (there is something worse than death) kill people, then are pulled from market? How do you explain why mercury, one of the most poisonous non-radioactive materials on the planet, is still used in fillings, and dentists have to say it is safe? How do you explain away the continued use of some of the most deadly chemical mixes ever invented by man used to "manage" cancer? MONEY, MONEY, and more MONEY. This isn't pop science, it is fact. This is a thread drift, take it off-line, doc....I'll be here.

    you forgot fluoride, jon.

FDA approved. Thanks for that, protector!

  2. With that rationale, how do you explain the "black box" warnings for Lamisil oral tablets or Ketek? How do explain Posicor being withdraw from the market, as well as Rezulin? How do you explain the prescribing restrictions put in place for Avandia? People like you irritate the holy sh*t outta me. You take your pop science, selectively googled from the web, and dupe other intellectually noncurious folk like yourself. The American public has chosen, time and time again, to have a standing army, a public school system and, yes, a FEDERAL police force-they're called US Marshalls. We could easily vote in gold-standard flatearthers like yourself, if we were so inclined. Maybe you should check out the site "Media Matters" and educate yourself what it important to most Americans.

I love how this woman pops in periodically just to talk ****, drops some insults and some "I am inferior" nonsense, and then goes away for weeks.

Skatha...as little interest as I have in this place...it'd be a better place without your arrogance.

    the FDA is a FARCE

you cited a few drugs...there are easily ten times that many on the market that are DEADLY.

your arrogance is injurious. nuff said.

    oh, and F U C K the IRS.

  3. I shoot a decent game of pool, a decent game of golf, snowboard decently, skateboard (ed) decently, but the instant I see what real talent does I want to puke.

i was talking with someone the other night about the level that all action sports have reached. Snowboarding, surfing, skateboarding, freestyle bmx/cross...all of it.

    sick. just sick

  4. Hey Snow man..??

and all whats with this.. maybe Ive been away...but what the hell is going on..

crap started before I was banned. In fact, this dude played a role in WHY I got banned. Not that he "got me" banned.

    Can I race too....???

It just got that much more interesting.

I might make two or three gates but , lets have a race on how many gates you race and knock down but still make it to the bottom... thats my format for me..

    :lol::lol::lol: it's ON, dude!

ohhh with a beer in hand with out spillling and drink it at the same time and a shot of Yukon in the other hand..thats a race..oh and arm wrestle at the end..... its so precious so i doubt i'll spill.

now you're turning my serious race into a spectacle ;)

  5. Hey BIG guys, this is a great point. I like the specs (length, width and scr) but is this board too stiff for me being a lightweight (165)? I bought an atomic don (170) as a softie ride last year and it was so damned stiff it killed me. Likewise for my Osin 3800 (the big one ... 169?), though I've gone to riding it with plates and it's fantastic.

But as a softie board is the steepwater 171 gonna be too much board for a sub-200-lb'er?

Mike T isn't that big a dude either. Klassen basically built the board for himself, and I think he's a bigger dude, but last I heard he rides FLOPPY boots, so...

if you're a light but powerful rider I think you'd be fine, BUT...I'm not confident enough in my opinion to say JUST GO FOR IT

    email steve klassen

  6. D-flub- Do you need a tissue?

You're a clown, dude. I don't care who you know, or how good a rider you might be or anything else.

    you're a clown.

You clearly want to follow me around poking at me. I haven't typed a single word at or to you since you pulled your little gossip fest, so...guess what...

you are the first person i have ever put on ignore. I advised you do do so for me, but since you refuse to shut the ---- up, congrats. The solace will be welcome.

    edit: ahhhhhhhh

  7. I bought a Steepwater Steep from Buell a few years back and was really surprised how well it rides. Handles chopped up Utah crud well and floats OK on a little bit of powder. Put some 20 mm Palmers on for a little lift and the board holds an edge really well, a lot of fun. I weigh 220lbs and felt confident on every turn, from what I gather the Plow has a softer nose for the pow. Watch a few videos of Steve Klassen riding and you might just buy one. Keep 'em big and round, Kipp

There's no difference in nose flex. They all have a slightly softer nose for float and rough terrain. Only diff between models of same length is width. Im sure flex changes between lengths and the lady.

  8. What's the difference between the two models though?

EDIT -- nevermind... half centimeter width is only diff

slightly more than that. the steep is I think 24.8 and the plow is 25.5

these are SICK boards, and for $300 you just can't go wrong, BUT...they're not "just ride it around gently" type boards. They have a more aggressive intent, which makes them really good for a carving freeride board.

  9. Both Billy and Bruce are using the new Coiler Saucy. It's got a clothoid decambered shape, anti progressive transposed sidecut with a SCR of about 25cm. Bruce is wearing a tuke with a coiler on it and Billy has a T-shirt on over his speed suite that says "Blame Canada". Bordy is claiming Bruce has developed the greatest and newest shape ever to hit this hill. Bruce agrees, "It's a real game changer." They're both at the top of the elementry school sledding hill ready to see who's going to be crowned the next...

oh lordy...now I need to edit the poll and throw Sean in the mix! Heck, let's get Chris in there, too! Frank? I have no idea who builds Kessler...

this would actually be fun! all the board builders in a race series covering all the formats?

    duuuuuude.
