  1. Since the guy selling is at an SES and you all are writing....maybe you can give some input. Would this be good for the me as I feel I load the tip too much and have to think about keeping my weight back( centered) thru the turn. Probably why I get chatter when i try to really lay it over. Or would that be a heel lift problem? I find myself pressuring the ball of my rear foot during turns instead of my whole foot. The guys helping me say I am 80% there and am looking for a board to help me progress to extreme carves.
  2. Question for you. I am a new rider and have a Neidecker fusion 164 which I think is a race board and hard to get laid over. My turns seem too tight and hard to then release. Would this board be better for me to progress up the learning curve? Carvers almanac seems to think so. I am very interested in it and would like to consider buying. Thanks

Is the board still for sale. How much and whats the condition. I am really interested.
  5. Can't do Wednesday as my schedule changed when we got the new doctor in our office. I'm going up on Tuesday( my new day off as well as Thursday). I heard the conditions are good and they blew new snow last nite as well. Also heard the official end is the 26th.
  6. Greg, 2/22 is the best and i will be up for the morning or else 3/7. My Fridays are taken for the rest until closing. Lots of travel. You missed it...Wewdnesday was the best I've seen. Dave
  7. OK, here's mine 2/22 2/28 3/7 3/14? I might be on a plane that one. And 3/18 or 3/19 as they are the supposed last days I think raw dog is coming tomorrow and some other two plankers. You better bring a pager for the wife...aren't you almost there? Dave
  8. Greg, I am up on Wednesday and possibly tonite. What's your twenty? Dave
  9. You should consider sooner rather than later. As in tomorrow! The big dump is here and i hope to dig out and make it up for the afternoon. Just can't seem to get enough....
  10. I'll tell Raw dog the news and I have some freeride stuff to get him going. The pants are a must unless he really likes frozen McNuggets. WEdnesdays are better for me for a carver day as I teach and travel a lot on most Fridays in the end of Feb and March. Just be aware, Blue will be closing down this year on 3/18 or 3/19 (inside scoop from my bro the director). Blue skies Dave :)
  11. Greg, It was a hoot riding w/ya 2day and the drills were a big help. Raw dog and I laughed the whole way home and he actually asked if it wouldn't just be easier to get carving gear and learn that, than new ski stuff. He wanted me to ask U if it easier to freeride first or just go strait to carving. He may actually join us if he can find a twenty year old deck that has the boots drywall screwed in. riding again Sunday afternoon and next Wednesday. See ya
  12. Bought 'em from the store. Thanks.
  13. Let me know when the next time you go. I am a newbie and can use some tips. thanks. Dave Burt
  14. Thanks. I will do that.
  15. I need some help and see that someone is meeting at Blue 1/15 I can't make that but want to know when the next meeting is. I am a new carver in need of tips and want to hook up with like-minded people. please advise.
  16. I am a new carver, having just converted from free riding, and am looking for a new set of bindings to replace my Oxygens. How can I move to step-ins as I have Raichle 324's size mondo 27 ( I believe that is what it is --295mm on boot)? I am an older newbie, 53!! but LOVE to carve and am having toooo much fun learning the difference in stance, etc. Somebody take me under their wing to educate and I will bring carving to Pennsylvania as something more than an oddity. I'm hooked.

    TD1's 2 pair

I believe I just met you at Blue the other day. I am still looking for mondo 27 boots for a beginner carver. Have any ideas? Also, got a board and bindings so am ready to meet the need for speed! I'll look for ya at the quad. Dave
  18. Are the Raichle boots still available? I have just gotten a setup from cfj and still need boots. My feet measure 27cm exactly but a broken left heel makes me a little larger( old skydiving accident). Let me know. reply here or diveburt@aol.com.

Are they a softer boot or a race boot?
  20. I need boots to fit Oxygen bindings for my starter setup. Size 27 or 27.5 ( I have a 9 to 9.5 US foot)
