Yes. I know you did it and I liked very much. I'm saying to everyone.
BTW, how did you change your title?
You can edit the title if you use the Full Editor to when editi the post.

I think this is good idea to put "SOLD" to the title, so that people know this thread is over without look into it. IMHO.
It's there, just refresh your cache. ;-)

John - as others have said, the actual binding, the bindings angles, and also the stance width all effect your kinematics. I would suggest eliminating some of the variables so you can have a more direct comparison between the two boards.

I'm selling one pair of Catek World Cup 1PL bindings.
All bindings are as-is; what you see is what you get.
Shipping will be via USPS flat rate service. Shipping is included in the price if you are in the CONUS. I will consider shipping to Canada; buyer obviously pays all shipping expenses/fees.
Payment via PayPal gift or, if you're local, cash.

SOLD -Black World Cup 1PL Bindings - $90 shipped to CONUS- SOLD
These are an older design - no transfer plate, no machined dimples for the cant/lift screws. The cant/lift screws have made some impressions/dimples in the base plate - see photos.
Come with the rubber baseplate rings.
Comes with 7 screw to attach the bindings to the board - 1 screw is missing. Comes with one extra kingpin/spherical nut. -
Starting off the new year posting to this list rather than replying to it. Hurt my knee when I was 16 years old, broke off some cartilage in my right knee. Problems on and off for last few years, but unfortunately this year it hurts continually, and is regularly swollen. Now on daily NSAID therapy. Had one corticosteroid injection which caused a flare. Maybe going to try Hyaluron next. Trying to get through this season at least before succumbing to a knee replacement. Getting old sucks - but I guess not getting old sucks worse.
Is microfracture an option? My wife is 10 months post-surgery and everything is great so far...

Mr. E, thanks for the measurements.
Looks like my 28mm is gonna be an issue. If everything is in the 30mm+ range, im sure most bindings are probably designed to accomodate that.
I think I'll just make my own shims. Seems like the way to go.
Since the sole of the AT boot will compress ever so slightly when loaded, make sure your shims are glued/screwed into place so that they don't "walk" and work themselves out of place.
IMO, you're better off switching to a binding where the heel bail pivots rather than one that is fixed. To me, it's not worth the potential injury risk...

Metal?
As BC said, not metal, but still a hoot to ride. I have a Woody Burner that is my go-to board freeride board.

I was interested in trying the 182 rockered tanker. I have a 192 tanker already. RJ only has standard camber tankers left according to website. So I haven't even tried contacting him yet.
Does anyone know who Rad-air North America is or was? Rad-air website refers to them as the distributor in the US.
As stated above:
You could also contact Bola at All Boards Sports. He buys his Tanker's direct, not though the NA importer. :)

Does anyone make boards for chick that rip and know how carve and charge big lines?
Prior Brandywine with the "traditional camber" option.

Still no contact info for exoticboards rad-air dealer. anybody by direct from them?
You could also contact Bola at All Boards Sports.

Sorry guys, been meaning to add to this. The tops sheet on the board I got from JJ shifted a hair and i wasn't sure if I should post it... He trimmed a bit of the top sheet material and it's really cool. I'm keeping it but he's going to make another one as well that I very much look forward to posting.
The plate is crazy. Never seen anything like it.
Can't wait to ride it
Sorry my pictures suck.
Kurt - you need to show the profile view of that plate. It will blow peoples minds...

Thank's
Egon
Egon,
Yes, they are still available, but I would prefer not to ship outside of the U.S. Sorry.

It seems to me that a DSLR would be overkill. With the quality of point-n-shoots available, I would stick with the ease and simplicity of the PNS. For work I have a Canon EOS 5D Mark II (DSLR), Canon Powershot G12 (PNS - older version of the current G1X) and Canon Powershot S120 (PNS). I choose which camera to shoot with based on my needs at that given moment - all three cameras live in the same camera bag so all are readily available. My G-series is my go-to camera 90% of the time. While the DSLR's have a plethora of lens and accessories available, the G-series is more versatile without having to spend $5k+ on the camera and accessories. The S120 is a nice camera, but the image quality is better with the more versatile G-series. I personally consider the G-series a professional-grade PNS. With the recent release of the G16, there may be some great deals available on the previous model (G15). If/when my G12 dies, it will be replaced with a G1X.

Couldn't have said it better!
I went to do an early hike/ride St. Mary's glacier on Saturday. At 6:20, traffic at the 70/470 interchange was stop-and-go, with a max speed of ~30mph, and stayed that way through Idaho Springs.
I was back on 70 headed east at 10:00. Traffic was bumper-to-bumper at a crawl from Fall River Rd. to Beaver Brook. This was a great reminder why I don't do Saturdays anymore...
