  1. Fin and I have a standing bet over whether or not I can get "anarobic" during a run. 160 bpm's the cutoff. I believe Cardio has a huge roll in off season training. (I think he'll owe me a bottle of 20 year single malt but I'm pretty sure he'll try to fufill his end with a bottle of wild turkey.)

Any off season activity in preparation for winter fun can't hurt.....except maybe the Scotch.

  2. Yea Brian,

That's the 01/02. The next year, it had that same curve line down the board but the board was white.

Dunno 'bout the Dani Kiwi as I only recieved dealer pics from RA. They are long gone but they were pretty low quality anyway and I believe they were drawn "concept" images, non zoomable. Part of a PDF form with details.

  3. I had shin bang my first year. I personally believe that, in my case, it was a matter of comittment in a turn. Being in the back seat disengages the edge causing chatter, which results in violent frequencies in the system.

I used tiger balm and mashed it into my tibialis medialis? your ski musckle on the front and outside of your tibia bone. You can visually ID this musckle :D by pointing your toes upwards while looking at your shin. ( opposite movement would be, say, standing on your toes. ) Again, it will be a commitment but you have to mash that musckle as hard as you can tolerate for results.

  4. As long as something moves from point A to point B, one human will think he/she can do it faster than another. Whether or not carving NEEDS racing is neither here nor there. Snowboard racing will always exist and one will try to gain an advantage in any way possible within the rules of the sport. These equipment "upgrades" that are implemented by racers are passed down to the common folk in the form of better materials, optimal shapes etc.

I love to watch a race in any sport and believe it accelerates the technology passed on to the mass particpants in the same sport, in all racing sports that have any kind of manufactured technology.

  5. dave i didn't make a mistake. you're not counting THIS year. ;) haha

Not the way they've started this year. However, they've had a great week 5. Maybe a sign of things to come? Doubtful. They just don't look as solid this year. In fact, they have looked very bad. Hopefully they turn it around though for all you New Englanders. ( And Billy Bordy even though I know that deep inside he's a Cleveland Fan. The whole Hardbooter crew was born in Ohio. ) There seems to be quite a few of you here and when you have 5 or 6 states backing a team, that's a solid fan base and a lot of electricity in the air for a team.

I'm just being nice. Phil is doing all the dirty work in this thread.... I'm very non-confrontational with the NFL due to the Browns' normal record.

  6. Even if the **** did go down, you could always reform as Bomberr or Bombster or something, couldn’t you Fin?

Bomber has been a household name at the Tille’s for a long time and within Hardbooter since inception. Of course, Bill Mike and I take this very seriously as we retail the same heelpiece from F2. We appreciate all you have done for us as customers and as mates in the biz trying to spread the good word. You do a magnificent job and that is obvious by all the support you have already generated within this thread. Thanks for being there for us and we are here, also, for you.

Now send me one of my stickers back!!

  7. framed photograph that you can buy of Buckner's infamous mishap, autographed by the loser himself.

    That is pretty sick....

You are correct 'bout the 3-0 comeback though. That was solid and it couldn't happen to a better team. ( sorry Mom.... the biggest Micky Mantle fan I know ) I was bating YOU specifically though and you bit! I love it! Long live Sport!

Cheers to you and your devotion ( and Billy's too ) to the Red Sox!

    Go Tigers!
