  1. Mike Carr, my computer monkey, just turned on his new shopping cart over at our site. It's basically the theme we're playing with. Easy navigation, logical page orders, cascading, content and NO FLASH.

Also, Billy Bordy posted an article on Deeluxe. There's a link on the front page. (Mike actually posted it 'cause, as I said, he's the web mokey but not before Bill wrote it)

There's a forum over there too, of course. It's a bit dark and dungeony in there with the dark blue stuff going on but you'll get by. We'll have a news page with static info on the WTC but if you want details details details about the Salt Lake area and beyond, the forum is a goot place to go.

We love pictures. There are quite a few Hi Res pics over there. Maybe over a hundred. I've not counted. Just us screwing around on alpine stuff, testing and talking and schreppin' the nar.

    I guess that's it.

  2. If you want to do freecarving, then it is not suitable for many riders (due to too hard spring and limited range of movement), but such (ab)use is not in spex anyway

The spring system "gives" way more than the conventional plate, in my opinion. In fact I know riders that have exchanged the spring system for the conventional Raichle 5 hole plate for a stiffer forward flex.

  3. I used to frequent MI bunny hills though. I DO know what "firm" conditions are ( as Bill would say " even if it's icey, no slidy slidy " or something like that ) So I probably do know what NJ's like. I think if you check the almanac, Mi would have more extreme cold than NJ.

Besides, when there are wet conditions, NJ or UT, and it freezes, well, Ice is ice.

I do love the "greatest snow on earth" though.... I will not deny.

    Love,

    Davey

  4. You obviously haven't been to Utah either. Less than a week ago, we were riding on boiler plate. Thaw during the day, groom in the eve, freeze solid at night, bullet proof til 11 am. You're not as special as you thought you were I guess. But I love the fact that you love the fact that you ride the worst conditions in the nation. I guess you do, though, riding in NJ.

    Ride on,

  5. The conditions at Park City right now are fun for freeriding but nasty for racing Nastar. You'd be lucky to get a run in before it turns ( the snow) to mush. I frequent the place and it's true, it's seventy + in the Valley and not to much cooler in the Mountains. You'd be wise to come out and tool around in the Mashed potatoes on a slalom board but I would save your 200 bucks for beer or a gift for your girlfriend or a downpayment on a Rad Air Tanker 182 ridden 3 days that I'm about to post on the Buy Sell Trade page.

If you decide to race, it's just not Ideal conditions. That's all I'm saying. Have fun

    Dave
