  1. If price does not matter, I recommend Flow team. It costs about $400+ but

the way it rides, it's worth every penny. My friend bought it for close to $600 CDN.

But I think you can do better. It has magnesium base plate that actually flexes

so it flexes with board when you carve. And also you know how Flow is when it

comes to stiffness. Hope you can find it

  2. Hey Todd....I would love to if I can go.

And about BoarderX, I've heard about

it a lot but poor knowledge of snowboard

race won't permit myself to join. And my

style is more recreational(if i'm correct)

    freecarving than racecarving.

I'm usually riding at chicopee since it's

free for me and only 15min. from campus

where do you ride most of the time?? GlenEden?

  3. I was searching for an article or review about this Snowraidergloves(http://www.thundercloudmarketing.com/Page7.htm) but seems like there isn't any. Did anybody try this pair of gloves?? I know that Dave Morgan Had a pair of it but I don't know how they held up against dragging hands of carver.

I've just trashed another pair of gloves that made of keprotec fabrics that is suppose to be a bombproof. if anybody did try this gloves let me know what you think about them.

    thx in advance

  4. It's been 4 years since I rode my softboot setup and I just bought

a brand new freeride/freestyle board. I want to ride this board

with my Flow. I do remember I use to ride f45 and r35 to practice

carving but I don't know what my stance width was. so here are

the questions that I want to ask you guys.

How wide should I ride with f45 r35 with Flows?

Also if I use plates, should I use same setup as my carving board?

    I'm 5'11" 180lb. ride hardboots with f57 r52 and 19.25" stance

Also let me know how you ride your softy.

    thx in advance

  5. I have been to many places for a helmet nothing really fits.

Seems like every helmet was made for oval head shape and not

for fat round melon that I have. Everytime I wear those helmets,

both side of my head gains uncomfortable amount of pain.

So far, I've tried Protec, Red, Bolle. they all give a headache.

Which company's helmet is for fat melon?? I haven't tried Giro

because the store didn't have anything larger than medium.

Do you guys know any good helmets for me?

P.S I have near perfect round 59~60cm melon:)

  6. My favourite would be MSLM too but I seldom go there because of my friends. I guess that's because I'm the only alpineboarder. MSLM is only good until 4:30pm so I usually drive down to Horseshoe for a night time boarding. At horseshoe, you almost never see a person with hardboots.

I started hardbooting about 3seasons ago but I took 2years off because of my bitching ex-girlfriend.

Anyway hopefully I can go back to where I left off. Hope to see some good carvers this season at MSLM

  7. I live in the area close to Toronto. Thus, it's difficult for me to go to a large resort that has long slopes. Until last year, my choice was Mont-Tremblant. Since every year when I went there, they were too busy for me to carve anywhere. So from this year I want to go somewhere else where there isn't many people.

My friend recommend me to go to Mont-Sutton because distance I have to travel is about same and it's quite. And also their prices of accomodations are very good. Only thing is that I've never been there so I don't know how their slopes are?

So if you fellow carvers been to Mont-Sutton or better resort for me to go, let me know.

    Have a safe ride
