  1. I especially like that mystery particulate that resembles snow you trudge through at the lift entry. What the hell is that stuff anyway :confused:

I believe that is a man made snow like substance that Killington is trying to prefect so that they can say they are the only east coast mountain to be open all year.

  2. what size boots do you have?

    a) I am 5'6" 175lbs. I ride a Speed 160 and a FP167 and I cant wait till next year so I can purchase a real freecarve board in the 170's range. Since I run mostly blue groomers its not so much the lenght but the sidecut radius you should look for. What type of turns are you looking for. tight >>>smaller radius >>> under 10 or medium>>>>larger radius>>> 10 to about 12.5 after that you are looking at the big arching pigs.

    b) dont know to much about this since I ride burton and the waist widths on them are small under 20cm. but I think the smaller the better big fan of the 18cm waist width

    c) so far my burtons have held up. but I only go about 10 times a year

  3. What's your size? Check the classifieds here on Bomber and Ebay. D-Sub had a good deal here recently on a pair of hardboots. :biggthump

agreed I got one pair from here and one from ebay both 9 out of 10 and both for real cheap oh yeah and welcome to the forums. convince your friends that carving is the way

  4. Here is the email I got back from them

I'm sorry but they're made special for Mr. Klug only.

I'll pass your feedback along though.

    Subject: Gold Medal Boards

Just read this under the Chris Klug section

Tell us about your role in the development of certain products.

I've been working really hard the past year with the R & D team developing the "Gold Medal Boards." We've been focusing on making the fastest, dampest boards available.

I was wondering when said boards will be hitting the shops. Being a Burton rider for 14 years and a alpine rider for the last 3 I would really like to see Burton get back into the business of alpine (not in Japan only) Having to watch the bomberonline.com message board and ebay for good used equipment is getting kinda old. Any info on these boards and their accompanying accessories (bindings and boots) would be cool

    Thanks

    Josh
