This board will be good for your weight and foot size because it is one of the wider carving boards made. Plus it is a bit softer than most so it will be easier for you to control. I suppose you could wear soft boots; but you are wrong about them being more comfortable than hard ones. Even with a cheap used pair, you will see what I mean. If you insist on softies, just angle your feet forward so your toes don't drag; or get some lifter plates. But you are missing out on the whole point. Let me know what you want to do. Thanks.

I have a Burton Alp171 which would be perfect for you. It has been sitting in my closet doing nothing and has only been ridden 5 times (It really is like new). The Alp will take you from beginer carving to intermediate level with ease. $150 plus ship. I plan to put it on ebay just b4 xmas. Are the house boards somehow differant?

they look good - are they new or used?

Besides color.... is there a fundemental difference? The Black ones are the current carve rs model, and the red ones are the titanium race from a few years ago. I'm wondering it they will ride the same or be significantly differant. Thanks for looking. f2 carve bindings.doc

Great Free Ride Carving Board with all mountain capabilities. Medium-Stiffness, but not so rigid that you need to be going mach 10 to carve it. It carves very well and is extremely stable and predictable at all speeds. The board is in great shape and has been treated well. I live in Florida, so it never saw much snow. Plenty of camber and snap left in it. In fact, when laying flat on the floor, it still has the original 3/8 inch rise in the center. Turning Radius is 9.1 meters. I am planning to list it on ebay, but thought I'd give the first right to a fellow carver here. $95 plus shipping.
