  1. Note! Does anyone in the LCI have grey tongues, or stiffer for the AF700's.. that will be there this sunday? Willing to buy them off of you.

We've got race tongues if you are still looking.

  2. Liam is a really nice kid. He and his dad are in the room next to me at the Snowmass Inn and we rode together on Friday morning. Liam already has his soft boots angled towards the nose of his board, and is trying to carve it. He'll grow into that Donek Rev prototype sooner than you think.

    SunSurfer

I've seen him ride too - he rips on his softies!
  3. We have a last minute schedule change that has left one room open at the BOL house! If you are interested or know anyone that is on the fence about coming to SES, now's the chance!

Don't like your accomodations? Still time to change them and stay with the Bomber crew at the BOL house! Lots of benefits, including sharing the hot tub with Fin! YIPPPPPEEEEEE

Contact me ASAP if you are interested before someone else takes it!

  4. Is there parking at Tiehack and is it....just a differant lift serve area??
There is a small parking area at Tiehack that usually fills up with SESers. It is just a different lift service area that will take you back to the main area, and vice versa but if you don't have your lift tickets before you get there it can be a pain - only if you don't have a car. If you have a car and can drive to Tiehack, at least park temporarily to get your package, then it's fine.

This can all be resolved if you pick up your package/lift tickets on Friday night at the BOL house! :) then you can take the bus to the main area, get on the chair lift, and ride over to Tiehack.

  5. "If you are flying into Aspen, the weather is supposed to be very snowy on Friday"

Yikes! That's me- Fri. arrive by 11am

Michelle - What's the "very snowy" forecast??

So far it's still saying 20% chance, but the news has been definitely making me nervous. I'm hoping the storm holds off until Sat so everyone can make it in safely, but it could speed up this week. it could also change directions because....it's Colorado. I just want everyone to be prepared just in case. I've had this happen before and people were calling me from Denver in a panic. I was 5 hours away in Aspen. :( Trying to avoid any surprises! Keep an eye on the weather and if Thursday night it looks like it might be bad, make sure you plan for alternate transportation and call the airlines!
  6. Hi everyone!

We're getting excited for the SES which starts this Saturday!

A few last minute reminders for you...

DAY 1 - we are at Tiehack, not at the base of Buttermilk. If you do not get your lift tickets before this day, you will have to make it over to Tiehack to pick them up. If you have a car, there is a parking lot here but it is small and could be full. if you do not have a car, it is HIGHLY recommended that you get your tickets before on Fri night at the BOL house! Otherwise, you will have to take the bus to Highlands, get off at the Rec center, and walk across the bridge. It is NOT a fun walk.

If you are flying into Aspen, the weather is supposed to be very snowy on Friday. PLEASE BE READY TO MAKE ALTERNATE PLANS! If it is snowing, they will drop you off in Denver and you will have to fend for yourself in getting to Aspen. CME is a service that will drive you to Aspen for about $100 one way. You can also rent a car. Be prepared and watch the weather.

Tuesday night house party is Mardi Gras! come and celebrate with us on a historic day! 4:30-7pm. Please do not block anyone's driveway if you are driving over.

    See you guys soon!

  7. A couple of announcements about SES 2013!

We are still updating the schedule, but there are some things you want to make note of:

Day 1: Starting off strong! The ultimate chick magnet Richard is holding his women's clinic at 1:00 First Day!

Day 2: 10:30 AM GROUP PHOTO!!! We usually do this at Highlands, but we've got another idea this year. Try to be at the tent at 10:30!

Immediately after the group photo Canadian Corey will be hosting an intermediate clinic. Come prepared to at least ride blue runs!

Day 3: 8:00 AM - First Tracks! Meet at the gondola in Aspen for first runs down the infamous mountain

1:00 pm The first annual Carve Off! Come show us your best moves on a board. Meet at the demo tent.

Day 4: It's Carnival Time! It's officially Mardi Gras day, so the Bomber and Donek house party will be loaded with beads and hurricanes!

Show up 4:30 - 7pm and dance to the New Orleans music!

Day 5: 10:30 am - get your legs ready - Steeps Clinic with Canadian Corey! Meet at the demo tent.

Day 6: Don't have enough yet? 10:30am Extreme Clinic with Alex! Get the scoop on how to get low from one of the best.

As always, the schedule is subject to change and we're still working on the parties and such, so please please check it again before you leave for Aspen! It's helpful if you PRINT it and take it with you!

    SALE SALE SALE SALE!!!!

If you purchase something from our web store and pick it up at SES, you can get 10% off. Use coupon SES2013 and start loading up with new gear for the event!

    See you all in Aspen!

  8. Michelle, does your luggage depot service include shipment to Canada? Is there an extra charge? If I use it I would probably bundle my boards and my wife's skis together, is that OK?
There would be an extra charge, but not sure what that would be. You can send us any amount of skis/boards, just make sure they are bundled back together before you return them to us at SES.
  9. Michelle,

For those of us that get in early enough Fri. to crank some turns Fri. afternoon, do you know of any discounts/coupons that would beat the price at the window of a Snowmass half day pass?? Maybe Buttermilk has a cheaper half day rate to make it wort the drive??

I think there is a half day ticket available, but I'm not sure what the price is. Their web site gives price for 1 day $114 but not for the half day. :(

  10. Michelle Hi,

I wonder, how can i get my lift tickets(3 days ticket), if I come on feb 12? Where can I meet you?

You will have to come to the house party Tue evening to get your tickets. If you want to ride on Tues, you'll have to let me know so I can leave them somewhere for you.

  11. Michelle - when we arrive on Friday to pick up our lift passes... will we get to meet you live and in person??? What about Fin? and Jack Michuardo? and Shred Gruumer?
There will be a semi-pseudo configuration of a faxsimile of me. Fin will be encased in glass, but you can speak to him through the teleprompter. Jack is on sabbattical from Fun.
