  1. Hi Guys my first Bomber sale!

First up: Blax Tonis with 27.5 mp liners. I got these used on ebay about a year and a half ago and broke my ankle my first day out. I parlayed that into to a new pair of Upz so these need to go. They are not pristine in any way. Some previous owner replaced the right toe buckle with one that was a bit too long for me so it wouldn't buckle tightly. The liners are well used and I suggest a new set. They are Intec compatible as I had my own in them.

I'm looking for $25 plus actual shipping, I have no problem shipping to our Northern Brothers other places can be discussed. Sorry for the poor quality cell phone pics, when I get better ones I'll swap them out.

  2. I had some great days this winter including a fantastic experience with Dingbat up at the Beast. While we were riding he noticed my board was a bit narrow for my boot size. So now I'm using boot out as my explanation to my wife as why I need another board. I'm looking for recommendations with the following considerations: I mostly ride New England small hills so lots of less than ideal conditions. It sounds like a metal board's dampness would be good but I don't have much to compare it to. Still relatively new at carving. I'm 5'11" and 190 with mondo 27 Upz RC 10s. I'm currently riding a Donek FC171 with about an 18 cm waist. So thanks for your suggestions and hopefully we'll meet on the hill.

  3. people on this site have no problems leaving feedback about transactions, good or otherwise, with or without a specific section.

Right, but Bomber is growing and having a place to check on someone gives buyers and sellers a sense of comfort. There is a particular seller in the BST now who has had 2 less then desirable transactions this season. His feedback should reflect that to let future customers know how he transacts business.

  4. You can get them by going to the members list and sorting by registration date. Sort it newest to oldest and then start cleaning out all the funky new names. It's a little tedious but that's a method I use a lot when we get spam attacks.

  5. I only started recently but was motivated by several factors. One was my age, I'll be 43 in a month and am just too old and have too much responsibility to my family to go and get smashed up in the park. Second was the elitist in me, I love doing stuff that makes other go "What the hell is that?". This has led me to most of my life choices as my oddball job can attest. Third but not last was seeing some guy in a cowboy hat and hard boots up at Sunday River back in the early 90's laying down carves with his armpit 3" off the snow. It looked so cool, I wondered how he was able to get down like that. Now I'm finally in a position to start working on my carving and hopefully influence some others to become carvers like us.

And I agree this was a good necro-post.
