  1. Hello, I'm selling my coiler 184 PureRace GS II, black topsheet. It's been used for 5 days. 250€ Greetings, Stef Belgium. ssteff@skynet.be
  2. Hot blast 178 2007 I think, ridden 2 times. email: ssteff@skynet.be
  3. Hello, I'm selling my coiler 184 PureRace GS II, black topsheet, F2 titanium plate-bindings included. It's been used for 5 days. 260€ Reason for selling: i prefer smaller boards. Greetings, Stef Belgium. ssteff@skynet.be
  4. hello, i can do a 360 carve; hey, i thought it was pretty easy! i started to do "the norm", and to slow down my speed, i started to prolonge the turn going uphill. After a couple of days i could carve 360 on my hot 158. i must say i can't do it on my 178, because it stops carving at slower speeds. If there is nobody on the slope, it's a pretty peasefully and slow way to come down the hill!. A carve-snowboard is the ONLY equipment that holds edge so well that you can make a carved 360, or even 180! Even on very steep and icey slopes its possible to do 180's toside. No skier or freeride boarder can do that. Yep, carving is my thing! Elegance, controle, and gravitiy! cheers!
  5. Hello Come to Europe: due to the global warming there will be lots of snow in the alps. :-)
  6. I don't care about the stance-with; i mount my bindings exaclty in the middle of the board, 57 deg. front, 52 back, 3 deg, 6 deg cant. I always look for a board that is at least 19cm of width, cause otherwise, i got overhang. I have a coiler PR 185, but on crowde slopes i prefer my hot 158, or even my hot 176. I'm 190 cm, and 85 kg, my feet are size 44,5 . greetz, Stefaan
  7. Does anyone know where I can find the pictures of that skeleton snowboarding. It was an article on technique. Thanks
  8. Hello, Someone interested in trading a trading Coiler 2005 black Pure RACE 184 for Coiler freecarve 173 or 178? ssteff@skynet.be Belgium. Europe.
  9. Hello, I mounted my new td2s non-step-in on my blast 178, and went out boarding for 10 days My weight is aprox 85kg. and i have the medium rings, boots Leemans. What can i say about the bindings: i ride a wide stance, so i bought the 3 and 6 degree cant/lift. I also ride another pair of bindings, F2 titanium, which i tried for 10 days in january. In my opinion, the TD2s are of a much better quality. I can't imagine breaking them. What the riding concerns: i don't know how to explain, but the td2s make me a better rider. Because of the construction of the td2s i can make my angles a little lower. With a 28,5 mondo boot size, i can make angles of 55 50 on a 19,7 wide board. BUT: is there someone who can explain me how that it's possible that those bindings affect my riding so much? After all they are just an inert construction to fix my boots on the board? Is it because of the base-plate, because of the height, psychological?, because of the stiffness? The explanations on BOL helped me a lot to improve my technic, especially in keeping my but above the board. I made the conclusion that it's the tric to adjust your body-position is such a way that you put as much weight as you can on the edges, and it really helped me. After 10 years, and more than 300 days trying, i can now go deep, even on ice. Now i'm waiting for my coiler PR184II to arrive. Greetz
  10. i guess you are not the only one who broke his hot right behind the back-binding: http://www.hammersnowboards.com/hotsnowboards.php look in the forum. greetz.
  11. Hello, I want to try a coiler next year, I now ride a hot 178 GS with a sidecut of 13,8m. i like it a lot, it's "turny" enough for me. What i'm looking for is performance on ice. What coiler do you recommend me? Purecarve? PureRace? Racecarve? I ride TD2 with Deeluxe Leemans. Greetz, Stefaan.
  12. hello, 1)Mboo alpine 1989 2)MBOO race 171 3)HOT BLAST 160 4)HOT BLAST 176 5)Generics 160 freerider. BUT: actually i really need a freecarver COILER 176 or a DONEK freecarve 176, and an AXIS 4x4, and i don't wanna change the bindings each time.., and if i have stiff boots, i really like softer and more comfortable ones, and if i have softer boots, i mis the stiffnes of harder ones... AND:I want to try a swoard! But for the moment i'm happy with the BLAST 176 and BLAST 160 ;)
  13. hello, i think that in de EC, the shoulders are not parallell to the board, but perpendicular to the feet. i see that in de file "Separate Zee Knees" here on bomber, it's mentioned that you should keep your shoulder also "level to the slope of the hill". what do you mean by that? greetz, stef.
  14. hello, you can put your back-foot-binding more to the toe-side (0,2-0,3cm): this will increase grip at the beginning of the backside-turn: hope this will help you. greetz, stef
