Maybe Michael has some subliminal power, Ryan. I don't recall pain until after Michael and I talked about it at ECES 2012 either I enjoy the added flexibility the F2 standards give after riding them most of last year. I do miss step in's, as my little hill is 30 seconds down, 8 minutes up.

They did give a little wiggle room as compared to TD3 SI's. I'm 150 lbs, so a heavier rider may feel more flex than I did. I would have kept riding F2 standard front/Intec rear but was having pain in my rear leg bone above the ankle near where the calf starts (maybe 1/4 to half way up the lower leg). I had talked to Mike M. (lafcadio) about it before and he had same pain when riding step ins. I tried switching days riding standards versus a rear step in, and didn't get the pain after riding on days with just standards on both feet. So I made the switch for body comfort.

I purchased these last year as NOS and only rode step-in's on my rear foot. I switched to F2 standards all around after seeing if these were a lot more flexible than TD3 step-ins. One binding probably has 3 days on it, 2 days on the other. $200 plus shipping. Heel lift/wedge is installed in one of the bindings as seen in the photos. Size of bindings are Medium 21.5-27.5.

I'd like to try a softer set of tongues for a Deeluxe Indy. Mine as far as I know have the tongues that came with the boot. I see that the Bomber store carries them, but seeing if I can find them used for a lower price first. I need the medium size, 25-27.5. Thanks.

Hmmm, folks keep mentioning snow tires. I run snow tires on my car here at home, because it's a RWD. However, I'm renting a midsized FWD car to make the drive up. Am I going to have issues on the way there, or getting around? Or is it going to be weather dependent?

159 Prior 4WD Nose had a lift line mark, repaired with marine epoxy as seen in the photo. Has Dakine Spike stomp pad cut up as tail protection, and a Go Pro mount siliconed to the nose. Base is in excellent condition, with a few very light transport marks, and a few light marks in the base from riding. The worse of the marks is shown in the photo with the quarter.
