  1. I purchased the virus that started this thread from Roox and emailed virus about this very subject. Frank emailed me back and said: "you can work like on car paint, grind with 1500 grain and polish!" I tried the cleaning wax like chris suggested and it worked very well on the smaller scratches. I intend to try the the "...1500 grain and polish!", after im done for the season and ill post my thoughts. Steve
  2. SnowNBeach, what do you have there thats compatible with wind boot, i recognize the heal pads?
  3. PCM...,the boots still for sale and whats the mondo range on the inside of the boot 25.5-27.5?
  4. RooX, i'll take it. I have an appointment here in 1/2 hour with the tax man and that should take me about an hour. When Im finished there, I'll paypal you the money. sjlepes@yahoo.com $570.00 U.S.
  5. RooX, does that price include shipping? If not, give me a number for 07419.
  6. Any issues with upz rc-10 boots and bomber td3 standard fitment? Im considering a boot purchase, however, if theres any compatibilty problems with td3 standards and upz rc10s, I know the answer can be found here. Thanks for the insite. Steve
  7. The Alp arrived today, every bit of a 9/10 condition as described. Impeccable packaging. Thanks Loopback.
  8. I have the exact same boots same size and all (shell should be 25.5 to 27 and the liners are 27). What has me confused is how AWHEELMAN charged you $40.00 for shipping. If you can explain that, I might think its my lucky day that the boots dont fit and buy them from you.
  9. Loopback... I think I need to by that alp. Do you have paypal? e-mail: sjlepes@yahoo.com
  10. Houghton just sold one on the classifieds. Whats anybody have to say about this board? I just purchased one on ebay, seems really damp.
  11. Lamberto, I find the same to be true, the soft nose that is; so I used what I learned from the carvers almanac and moved my stance forward of the 15 setback. Not only did that take the burn out of my legs, it made it easier to start the turn just like I read, hence I didnt really need alot of weight forward. But, I agree with everyone that I need to try out some new technology. ECES is a good idea and ill have to seariously consider that. Try out some new boards and visit a larger resort with my alpine gear and open er up. Id really like to try that 173 volant excel but mountian creek is way too small for that. Be good dudes, thanks for the input and maybe ill catch up with yous in VT.
  12. You the man, Wes. You the man. Thanks a bunch
  13. Can anyone tell me what production year burton ultra prime 162 had a red/pinkish topsheet? Im trying to find out what the specs are. The one that I have doesnt have alot of life left but I like the way it rides and more importantly, I find it perfect for the slopes at my home resort. I inquired about the alp 164 loopback has for sale in the classifieds but i I don't know how fond I am of the 3d inserts. Im thinking about a custom board with the same specs as my UP. Any info will help. Thanks
  14. Forget about that question I asked about the condition of the automats...found um. Package deal price for alp and mats to U.S.
  15. Loop, what can you do for the alp with the automats (whats the condition of the bindings), including shipping to the U.S.?
  16. Sounded as such but figured it couldn't hurt to give it a shot. Thanks for your time.

  21. I had mine shipped from new hampshire and it cost me $24.00, and I had a board shipped from LA and it was $39.00- both UPS. Go on alpinecarving.com and check out boots. Scroll down to where they cover the use of ski boots.
