  1. No, with basic hand tool skills these can be installed pretty easily.

Keep in mind,  it is often removing the old ones that can get a bit tricky.

There are TWO different items here.  One is a fixed hinge point , the other is

made to allow canting of the upper boot cuff.

I don't think you are likely to have any difficulty.   These are one of the items I

strongly suggest any hardbooter with Raichle boots carry in their tool bag.

Bolting the hinge with bolts and washers is an option with above average skills.

Our BOL  member "TrikerDad" made some machined parts for this that are outstanding.

Have not heard from him in a while.  They were never made in any volume.

Thanks again. I'll be placing an order shortly along with a BTS kit. I guess I will be softboot carving for awhile. (Yes, we do exist:-) )

Also if you're at SES, say HI to my friends Ron and Gloria from Utah.

You may find a number of threads from the past with alternative fixes also.

Unfortunately it is "SES 2015" time and Bomber Store will be closed until it is over.

You can order and get things rolling though.  PS. I would buy two sets minimum.

    Bryan

Thanks Bryan, I didn't scroll down far enough earlier to see them. Are they hard to install?

  3. I have a Donek Ax.172 that I purchased from a fellow Bomber a few years ago. It has approx. 20 days on it. There are a couple of liftline knicks in the topsheet. The base has some scratches and could use a tuning on the edges. I had the base repaired and the edges tuned. It has never been ground and I believe it is a medium flex. $350 shipped to lower 48.

Also have a pair Burton Wind Boots. Size 28.5 mondo. I have two sets of liners. One set is for very narrow feet and the other set are Intuition that have only been molded twice. There is a crack in the tongue of one of the boots about an inch long. I drilled a hole at the end of the crack to stop the cracking. $85 (PRICE DROP) shipped to lower 48. SOLD!

Send me your email if you want more pics.

  4. I loved my ST! A delam ended it's life. How much to ship to Salt Lake City?

I see, WS was in Freeport owned by BMP but that was back in early 2000. Tom Burt is now the stake holder and I believe owns the name. They are now produced to order only by Wagner custom. I did not think they pressed any boards in Maine? I would love to have one if they did. I would also like to get hold of a Team 8 since they are no longer in production.

This is not A Wagner pressed board. I have 4 other WS boards, another ST and 3 all mountain. I believe the all mountain were made in Canada, they do not say USA or Saltlake like the old old ones do.

I thought Seth bought out Team Eight and was opening shop in the valley? I did see a post that he was riding Wsticks on a trip last season. Interesting, Seth has been riding a long time. He must know Tom Burt, I know they both love back country. We both rode Barfoots at Sugarloaf back in the 80'S, he obviously perfected the sport, and I am an engineer. Oh well. Is Seth bringing Winterstick back to Maine? That would be cool!

    Cheers!

  5. I can post photos later tonight. Not sure what year the boots are. I think I paid $100 for the liners. I am open to reasonable offers.

I have few more pics but they didn't want to upload. Can send if you provide email address.

  6. PRICE DROP! I have a pair of Burton Winds that I purchased from a fellow Bomber a couple of years ago. I replaced the modified liners that came with them (I still have and are for very narrow feet so I was told) with Intuition Power Wrap liners that I also purchased used last year. They have been molded only 2 or 3 times and maybe 5 days on last mold. The liners look practically new. The tongue on the boot says 27.5-29 although I think they might fit a larger foot. Any input would be very helpful on this. I had to adjust my TD3's to the max to fit them. There is however a 1.00" tear in the left boot where the tongue overlaps the ankle. Would possibly consider separating the Intuition liners from the boots. $145.00 OBO plus shipping. Prefer U.S only.
