Howdy! My name is Babe, the mascot for COW 2013! How do you like my big, baby, blues!

I'm inviting all you rustlers to come out to the 2014 COW stampede at Grand Targhee!

Yippee, ki, yi, yay, git along little doggies! Come out and play with the big dog!

  2. Heck Yeah, some of the best people to have a COW with! Looking forward to doing this again next year. Great mountain, fun and great people, what more can you ask for, other than more carvers next year to share this kind of roundup with. Yipee!

  3. Well we had 5 drovers on the trails today, and it was Fun! A bit of braille riding on the first run, then rode a couple of other lifts and the visibility improved. Great meeting BigDogDave, Two Ravens and ExcelsiorTheFathead. Great people and another couple of days of rounding up all those stray doggies ahead for us, Yippee ki yi yay!

  4. We are presently living "High and Wide" at the Ghee! a little flat for lighting until about 1, but we still checked out some trails looking for rustlers. Looking forward to tomorrow and meeting the rest of the drovers.

    YEEHAW!

    Mick and Trish

  5. I have been riding a 171 for about a month now. Love it! Very damp board, don't notice much chatter in less than perfect conditions. Able to make both short and long radius turns when you want.

I have been riding a 172 Coiler AM VSR for the last two seasons and after getting the Kessler have only ridden it once since then.

It's kinda narrow compared to the Coiler, but that just makes for quicker turn initiation.

Love It and I'd highly recommend it if you can afford the entry fee.

  6. Glad to hear that the two of you were like the Rowdy Yates of this trail drive and checked out the grazing (carving) conditions. Sounds like it was fun.

I look at the 'Ghee site daily to check out conditions, and it looks good thru next Thurs. at least, no really warm temps so far.

We'll be "head em up and move em out" on early Thursday morning, should be there by 11: a.m. to check out the grazing conditions and look for anyone named Gil Favor.

    YeeHaa

  7. Oh my gosh,

I'll try to live up to that Kessler Racer hype, probably won't.

I'll just be there to carve and have a blast.

And hopefully to learn more about carving, and to help my wife and I become better carvers.

  8. Just had my Kessler ground and tuned last week, and dropped off my wifes and my Coilers today for the same massaging at Alpine Sports in Ogden today. Totally Stoked for C.O.W. hope that I am worthy to ride with the carvers that will be there.

It will be FUN I am sure.

Hope to ride with a bunch of great people there.

  9. Hope you can make it U.P. It will be a fun time i'm sure. And you could try out that new 196 weapon on another mountain.

Looking forward to meeting and riding with you two-ravens, and my wife will have another goofy footer to watch for inspiration and helpful hints with her riding.

  10. Just booked at Targhee lodge, not a bad deal $493. for four nights for two, with lift tickets included. Walk out the door to the lifts.

    We'll be there around 10:00 or 11:00 a.m. Thursday the 4th.

Yippee, git along little doggy, here we come C.O.W.

  11. Looking at a Stay and Ski Free package at the Targhee Lodge, $110 per night for two people, stay for 4 days/nights. Is this a good deal?

Never been to Targhee so any help is appreciated.

It says slopeside accomodations is it worth it, anyone stay here before?

We are planning on getting there on Thursday Apr. 4, and staying thru Sunday.

  12. OK,

My wife and I are in. We just need to work out the lodging/

lift tickets. But we are definately going to be there, to have a COW time.

We don't have cow bells, but we'll bring our 2002 Olympic bells to ring, loud and proud.

    Mick
