  1. I'm selling my 153 Kessler Cross with bindings, a board sleeve, Palmer plates and for an extra hundred I'll throw in a '53 Nitro torque to use as a slip board.
  2. Hey Bomber community, Harry Sherman here. Last year, I purchased, ground, tuned, and waxed a Kessler 153 Cross. I rode it two times, once at a local USASA race before USASA nationals, and again at nationals where I incurred a traumatic brain injury and was knocked into a coma for eight days. Now I possess a Kessler 153 Cross, tuned and with a Burton board sleeve and palmer plates that I can no longer use. Since I can't race anymore, the board, only ridden on a handful of times and hours of work put in including wax and edge work (so I would argue that its better than new) is unfortunately unraceable for me for good. As a result, I was wondering if anyone wanted to get their hands on my 153 Cross, which comes with the Palmer plates and the Burton board sleeve. I've already taken a lot of work out of it to get it prepped for race day, so I'm asking $1400 for the lot. I hope to use the money to get myself a splitboard when I can ride again. Although its a serious downgrade from racing boardercross, maybe I can get a VW Microbus, a splitboard, and a husky named Avalanche or something along those lines, haha. Thanks bomber for supporting my racing through the years! Specs (Mostly from the Kessler Website, sorry for the conversions if you have to do them): 153 CM WS09 Base Grind Waist: 238 mm Sidecut Range: 6-9.5 M Rider Weight: 40-55 kg Don't forget about the palmer plates and the board sleeve! P.S. Contact me through my email, hsherman at bayschoolsf dot org if possible! It makes it way easier because I'm on my email all the time at school. P.S.S. I also have a Nitro Torque 151 that I would be willing to throw in a slip board for an extra hundo, or something along those lines. P.S.S.S. Forgot to mention, I'm also selling a pair of large Burton CO2 bindings which I'll do for around 200, seeing as they are in between 227-259 in stores. So that's that.
  3. Doable, but make sure you have a REALLY good brace. Surgery is a season ender.
  4. I got to give it to pow days! Then again, coming from Tahoe, we get spoiled with ample days to ride fresh cords, so maybe it just holds less value for me.
  5. I would argue eating people in any context is wrong. HOWEVER, I feel that the vegetarian, while not being of as great nutritional value as the meat-eater, will taste better. I think they would taste less "gamey".
  6. I use 661 mountain bike armor. Works fine for me.
  7. Hahahahahaha! That is one of the better things I have ever read!
  8. I actually don't think that super stiff boots help with softboot carving as much as people think they do. Maybe its different as a boardercrosser, but I feel that stiff boots limit ankle flexion to a point where your ankles are too rigid to be able to absorb chatter or pump effectively. I use burton Sabbath boots, which are mid flex, with a CO2. I feel that the laces, midflex boot, stiff binding combo works better than stiff boot, stiff binding, or stiff boot, soft binding. Then again, maybe I'm just crazy...
  9. Yeah, I talked to Nate briefly at Alpine. He is too big of a guy; he needs his boards stiff. I also talked to Graham, but his boards are too narrow (I think Graham wears a size 5 boot). Alas, its much harder to find one of these boards than I would like. Even Catek is sold out of them.
  10. I am looking to buy a 158-9 Kessler cross board. I am 130 pounds, so super stiff boards will not work. Will discuss payment when contacted. 41.5.312-66-1.2 (don't want the spam bots to pick up my phone number).
  11. Obviously they were here first, but I think that would be a good board for me. If you hold on to it for 1-2 days I can let you know if I can get it.
  12. Hey Austin, its Harry Sherman. I think I want this one. Can you hold on to it for 1 or 2 days while I figure out if it will work? Thanks. Also, can you ask Mackey about the 159?
  13. I am seriously thinking about this one. I have been trying to find a new BX set up all season. Also, when were the boards made and do you have the specs for them?

Approximately 160cm would be the perfect size. Cosmetics are not important, as long as the edges and base are in race condition. Buying price negotiable, but keep in mind if I wanted to pay full price, I would just by a new one. If anyone has anything they would like to sell, send me an email at Harry dot E dot Sherman at gmail dot com.
