  1. this is fun but I gotta stop before I have given away the farm, my lips are sealed LOL....
  2. I sat down with Atomic for a while in Austria for a month or so with Ryan Wedding from Canada remeber him size 13 foot 250 pound 18 year old LOL... any how was talking to them about a motorized ski binding with sensors to release you quicker and auto like in any direction falls because it would just let you out... no matter if you where teetering on the edge of the binding when it did not quit kinow what to do release or hang on, but it was to advanced at the time, 10 years ago so you will see them some day I am sure especialy now I am telling everyone HAHAHAHH, it is my idea I can tell anyone and everyone I want right better hury Rossi is watching... But ya that does look a bit like my stuff in a way But I have no problem with Atomic they never stole from me I doubt they have ever seen my curent board this was just by chance. But if you look at my inserts from derby I do the same thing when board flexes the bottom board tail only, gets pushed outward because derby slides in a trac and track is sort of side ways you really can not see but the inserts are asymetrical that you do see and the tail of my board starts with tons of tapper but when flexing comes out a bit to make less taper right. The tip of course I could not nor did not want to because this would make starting turns very unpredicatble I would imagine and if you look at the rule books for FIS snowboarding it says a snowboard is defined as one tip, two edges they do not mention much else because split tails have been around for eons winter stick and Hexel skis did it before most of you where born probably... So do not try to race on the Tinkler nose split board you will be disqualified.
  3. Do you remeber the Ride Kildy Board? If you do the core was a three peice, two pieces on the edge and one in the center the outer edge pieces where about two inches wide the whole way tip to tail running laminates, the center pieces or core was had the laminates running edge to edge, the center core looked like a narrow snowboard and then the two outer edge parts right follow me.... Ok the laminates on the outer cores running tip to tail made the outer edges stiffer than the center... So now when you flex the board the base would actualy concave when flexed follow anyhow this was the first ski and certainly snowboard with such an idea of stiffer edges unless I am smoking crack and some one knows otherwise. Well the problem with this awsome ice holding machine was it would split the core where the three pieces where glued together can you see what i am saying so the answer I came up with was to make solid in the center so to stop the cores from seperating can u see the new shape taking shape yes that is the Kildy Flex inside the board Liquid. Well I told a some one from lange ski boots this core inside my board he then runs and tells Langes ski devision Dynastar owned by Rossignol at the time any how and would'nt you know they make it visable the next year if you can rember this ski came after Ride Kildy and so every ski company still today is doing this stiffer edge thing, and so did Mad so technicaly no I did it first it was just hidden you can take top sheet of Ride kildy to see if you cut in half you may not see because you must see the laminate direction.... well Rossingnol has stolen many things from since than I must have been on their hit list because I came to them with a Inline skate design with ski like bindings that you could take off the blades and walk in normal soft hard shell the screwed this all up trust me but they also left me on the curb while screwing the whole program up any how LOL the design I cam to them with was pretty bad ass wheels on one side and a cambered blade frame that flexed and so on sick i can already see the wheels turning in some ones head have fun I have pleanty of stuff workig on, any how look at the newest Rossi rip off at www.rossignol.com check the all mountain stuff makes me laugh they are pretty gay.
  4. I just wrote forever and was timed out, so I hit the back button :smashfreaand lost the whole thing dang that pisses me off I will respond in a second to the Mad question....
  5. I was riding at Waterville Valley NH "wooorst mountain in the wooorld" after Peter Stocelooser became race manager wow things can change quick we had a pretty good alpine program there not tons of kids but probably 10 four years ago and 3 last year and 0 this year sweet Pete nice work I have not been there other than a day here and there but man how sad is that they all left LOL...
  6. Hello there yes Brett and I had several solitary days togther for sure...
  7. I think it is the only picture I have of twenty years of riding and I found it on the internet so the quality sucks and the size was always pretty small but i will see if it looks better posting it here
  8. Yes I am planning to make the boads however this will be a new version of the old desgin and I hope improved but like I said not tested as of yet and there are some pretty big changes so I have much unknown (SCARED). Erik that was the first thing that i worried about making these split boards Tropical tube made it for me, I was begging for Titnal to overcome what I thought was going to be a torsional problem but he could not get, so I did as much as I could with glass layup to overcome and the insert layout, if you can see the inserts are holding the bottom boards pretty good but you are right it is an issue I want to fix this issue to make even better but I am for sure not complaining. Titnal is going into the next version on the bottom board, two pieces top and bottom of the bottom board just like skis right out to the edge not layed between edges if you follow me there. But it is the new alloy deby i can not wait to test oooooohhhh man:p
  9. the weight sorry is no problem it is good the whole world cup ride on Kesslers with Hangle (sp) plates the board in total weighs somthing around 16 pounds my board weighs in at 14 so it is fine weight is a silent dampner if you see what I am saying long time ago Dynastar tried hoels in ther tips for weight reduction that lasted one year the following year they put in the red ball thing on the tip this was a weight inside to stablize tip:nono: the wieght of my boards is mostly in the center and the derby forces tip and tail down because it has a ton of camber in it the bottom board has little so it is like pushing down on tip and tail with external presure coming from nowhere get it
  10. I never even road this ll bean board but I heard it was good, they pumped it out and I found out later it was only the derby i designed. I still ride the race version today with full split I love it I road Kesslers this summer hated them for real but I guess when you get used to one thing the other just dont feel right you know. like cheating on a girl I imagine but the boards I ride now are so stable it is retarded the new will have titnal this is somthing Prior and I tried back in 96 but we only could get our hands on alloy 6061 and the board road unreal but stayed bent after a good hard turn so one run and done had to bend back. I just spoke with Chris Prior the other day we laughed about those days.
  11. This is some very old drawings of boards I would love to show you all the newest pictures, but I am about to make the new board and I would like it out before someone tries to beat me to it, if you know what i am saying "trust no one" so I will keep secret for now it is all patented including a new alloy derby ontop of the old derby, all has been changed but it is siiiick (i think.. LOL) I have not riden it yet, it could suck i guess. I will show ya all soon on the snow.
  12. now my blood is boiling ask Chris Prior who made the first derby (kildyFlex) for me 1997 summer, I did not name the derby, Anton Pouge and Mike Jacoby did for 24/7 snowboards our sponsor at the time, but I was pissed because I did not want my name on it at all. However maybe one month after I was spotted on this board at hood training for 98 Olympics, Mark Fawsett shows up with a Tinkler FAG plate and I laughed because I had just told Tinkler how to make it the plate and avoid my Patent, I just could not believe he would do it, but he did and that was to split the derby in half edge to edge. I laughed because being the designer of it I new how and why this would not work, since the idea was to have the top derby force camber into the non cambered bottom board providing downforce and of course camber, so splitting it in half cracked me up right. Well know that it has been a bunch of years and everyone believes he designed it he desided somewhere along the line just to make it like my patent and all is ok whatever TINKLER LOL. I told Fawcett it would not work well and the rivots will not hold in the center because when the tip starts to bend, it will put so much force into the middle of the board poping those inserts. Did anyone see Fawcett win the first run of the Olympics by almost 3 seconds and second run split his board in half oh wow I will never forget, that is for sure. I told him the first day I saw him ride it, I hexed him for doing this to me, I love Fawcett it was just not the right thing to do ride that board Tinkler somehow convicned him it was tinklers idea LOL. We have always got along it was just one of those big race things... got everyone a bit crazy
  13. boardski that was actualy my first real race board and sponsor LOL what a piece of SH** but she is a gem what you need is the day-glow green jacket and hot pink pants Kemper made same year for team outfit then I would purchase from you (just kidding) but someone would I am sure of it other wise just burn it
  14. that video is awsome, funny thing is put new cloths on those dudes and some HD video and you would not see the difference between now and then those guys ripped, that is scary lots of progress.... PJ... those where the days trust me. (FUN FUN FUN)
  15. two people do euro carves one circle inside the other at the same time. The outside guy holds onto the snowboard of inside guy's, off snow edge..... be careful when the outside guy holding the edge pushes off the inside guys board to get back up, he will most definitely screw the inside guy real quick, but what a photo it would be. Bill Enos was the inside guy he almost hit a lift tower (very close)... I could never get him to do again for that photo...... <O:p</O:p I never understood why
  16. just get in line and say moooo like a cow and get a Kessler, if you go see a world cup alpine race the best part of the show is watching everyone come outside from lunch looking for their board pretty funny they all and I do mean all have the exact same board.
