Thank you Robin/Mike for coming out and ride with me!
I am not a word smith and not the best in communication.

Thank YOU, David! Oh my... you never stop! I can't recall the last time I was out carving for six hours straight without stopping more than once for 15 minutes.

Today, my legs are reminding me of the great time we had. Lol!

I will stay at Days Inn in Greenfield.  have an extra bed if anyone need it.  I snore-ish lol..
    Plan to ride Friday/Sat/Sunday.

A mini Rally before the Rally lol.

YES!!! I will see if I can come out Saturday, too.  That will require some negotiation and schedule rearranging.  Stay tuned.

  3. It's never too soon to talk RALLY!  I'm debating whether to come out on Saturday or stay closer to home.  It looks like it's warmer today, tonight, and tomorrow.  It's not likely to drop below freezing again until Sunday.

Has anyone been there this week? Condition report? Thoughts on the outlook for this weekend?

  4. I won’t make it there this weekend but I do plan to spend some time there later in the year. If anyone gets out there for opening day please send a report!

do you wear the spine protector under your layers, or over?  I have a hard enough time just with layers I wear when nature calls.  Looks cool though, might help with abdominal muscles when getting low.

Under. I wear mine over my base layer and under my insulating layer (if wearing one). It's super lightweight and I don't even notice it.  So much that I've occasionally forgotten to wear it and I don't remember until I set back into the chair.

  6. I was out at Sunday River yesterday and it was NOT BAD!

Just two runs open from the top of Locke, T2 and Sunday Punch. T2 had more coverage, less traffic, and overall better snow. Upper Sunday Punch to the mid-station wasn't bad in the morning, but it got most of the traffic and the best snow got pushed off by midday. Lower Sunday Punch was pretty sketchy at the bottom where the coverage was thin. I was glad to have my dedicated rock board.

It started snowing around noon and didn't stop for the rest of the day.

    Snowboarding in OCTOBER!

Next Sunday, I'm likely to be at Wildcat, unless Bretton Woods is open.

  7. Sounds like a great day!  Wish I was there to meet up with Bobby.  Haven't seen him all season.

  8. Unfortunately the mountain is not open today due to the weather.  Yesterday was officially the last day of the unofficial Rally.  Good day spent making turns with friends.

Thanks for coming out. We will make sure to get this on the books for next year.

Special thanks to Mark for making the long drive out and keeping the Stoke alive. Looking forward to Rally at the Thunderdome '19!

I'll be up that way either way. If some will ride, I'll ride. Weather.com is calling for no rain Saturday, but it looks soft since it won't get below freezing.

    Dingbat better show!!

Mike, we'll need to meet up somewhere Saturday to deliver Joerg's "goods" to you from Colorado

I'll be there both days so we can meet on Saturday.  He's the guest of honor.  He better show.
