  1. Che bello vedere un Italiano qui su BOL!!!
  2. I've found this ad on CL: http://boulder.craigslist.org/spo/1674705356.html
  3. oldvolvosrule helped me out for the rest of this season, but if anyone would like to trade, the step-in kit is still available (I don't care too much for it, I'm find with the standard). I have a complete step-in systems for Catek OS1/OS2: it includes the heel receiver, the toe bail. I would trade it for a standard heel bail, heel block and toe bail/lever (the toe blocks are the same).
  4. I was wondering if there is specific torque value you guys use to tight the mounting disk to a board. The bolts are M6 stainless steal with a 4mm Allen head, bindings are Catek OS2 and the board a Prior WCRM.
  5. Was she good looking at least? And btw, I'm not sure you can be the downhill rider and hit somebody behind...
  6. Thanks for that! Last night I've got the Lexan spacers done and they turned out quite well: I just used the utility knowfe to cut it and the Dremmel to shape it... I've also started playing with the cork and made a layer that goes between the Lexan and the board. However I'm not sure I like it: the cork, of course compresses a bit causing the Lexan to bend. This makes the edges of the Lexan to flex and creates a gap. I think tonight I'll revised that and profile it to the Catek's plates and have the cork just under the binding, between the binding and the Lexan. Catek on their website says the D3 is a 70D under the center disk and a 40D under the angle plate. On a side note: I would have bought the spacers & D3 from Catek no problem... If only they would have got back to my emails or calls... the f***k you guys: you're products are good, but it just looks like you don't want to sell them or something... Get your s***t together!!!! :angryfire
  7. Here it is: the pooped coffee I was telling you about: it's called Kopi Luwak (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kopi_Luwak)
  8. In Switzerland they are known for their chocolate which require milk made from cows; cows fart and make methane which cause the global warming in the Alps... Additionally, to make things worst, Swiss farmers are known for genetically engineering cows to make special milk for better choclate. A well known example is the Milka cow: I think the coloring of this cow also attracts sun rays: the cow's tummy gets warmer which facilitate bacterial mitosis. More bacterias in the cow's tummy, more methane, more farts, more global warming... Basically Global Warming is just a giant fart.. Or brain fart...
  9. Googlve Voice has a new voicemail system for April fools day... It turns it into the annoying AT&T endless VM...
  10. It's best in an Italian style expresso coffee: just chocolate and coffe, no sugar... Yummie!!!!! Give a try to the Lindt if you find it... Have you ever had that caffee made with the beans pooped by that monkey? I can't recall how it's called (I guess I lost that with the brainwash)
  11. I thought it was all the cows in New Zealand farting at the same time and releasing all that methane gas... Has anyone else had stake from a New Zealand cow? I'm not sure why but is sooooo much more tender than any meat I've ever had
  12. So I'm the SOB who picked up this baby: http://cgi.ebay.com/Prior-WCRM-Snowboard-with-Catek-Bindings_W0QQitemZ260572475133QQcmdZViewItemQQptZSnowboarding?hash=item3cab546efd#ht_500wt_1182 I received it last night... :1luvu: Can you spell M-I-N-T?! :eplus2: I removed the bindings and lubricated all the bolts & hinges and gave it a fresh coat of wax. Edges where still perfect... I've also started working on protective spacers: I picked up a sheet of Lexan from Home Depot and will pick up some cork gasketing material to add it between the Lexan and the board as a homemade suspension system. I gotta check what NAPA/AutoZone carry, but some cork comes with rubber as a copolymer and have a shore A durometer of about 60-80, which is just about where the D3 is...
  13. I've picked up a sheet of Lexan from HD last night and cut it to shape. Unfortunately Ace/AutoZone were closed by the time I got home so I couldn't get the cork and finish the project...
  14. Have you tried adding a piece of dark chocolate in the coffee? It brings out the aroma very well. I think Lindt makes a chocolate bar with a very hight (IIRC above 95%) cocoa concentration. That's the perfect one!!! PS: wvrocks thanks for your comment, I was sure the story was a lot more complicated than presented in the video...
  15. That's how my morning start before driving to the slopes: bean grinder and French press... I don't think I could do much without it...
  16. Oh man, c'mon... You ruined the debate!!!! :AR15firin eheheh!!! :ices_ange
  17. Thank you guys... Now that you mentioned it, I think I remember seeing at AutoZone some cork based sheets used to make custom gaskets. Did you guys put it between the board and the polycarb or just plain cork between cork & bindings?
  18. Well, I guess I gotta credit you for your honesty Now does that mean that we're both thinking for ourself or that we both got brainwashed...
  19. I'm not following you there: why if someone thinks like you guys, than "thinks for himself" while if someone doesn't, then is "brainwashed"? Help me a bit with the logic here...
  20. I find it hard to believe that it is completely job neutral, and if it was, I would have expected it to be mentioned in the report since it would have made the argument favoring a less intrusive way of mining coal stronger. The report, instead seems very biased and present only one side of the story.
  21. Was this in the same Greenpeace report about how scientist did not disclosed data in contrast with the Global Warming "theory"?
  22. Interesting, but just because not a single word is spent talking about the impacts on jobs... But what you expect from these Berkeley Latte drinkers...
  23. That sounds good!!!! Thanks... Btw, it looks like someone needs to keep his arms to himself and drop the hips on the toe side..... ehehehe
  24. Thanks Loc!!! Is there a way to download the pix in full res? Maybe in bulk....
