They had the BBQ out at the mid chalet and the Stewpot this past weekend, but none of them was fired up. Maybe we could setup camp at the Stewpot and run the BBQ ourselves? - Thomas

They have a 1.5'' wide wrist band (http://www.ziener.de). I am in contact with the Canadian distributor and wait for them to get back to me with a list of shops, hopefully. I am also waiting for Ziener themselves to get back to me. I bought my last pair somewhere outside Munich, maybe 10 years ago and lasted until last season.

I actually looked into this as well. My idea was to leave on Sat. morning and be in Snowmass on Sun. evening ... boarding on Mon, Tue and Wed ... heading back Thursday morning. I initially planned to make a detour to Snowbasin on the return trip, but this might be to much of a stretch. I will probably make up my mind early next week. - Thomas

The joke is not about Hitler, his regime or his goons ... it is about some obscure snowboard and hitler and his goons are just used as backdrop. Now, how would you feel if somebody came along and used the attacks on Pearl Harbor or the WTC as backdrop for jokes. By using it for a joke or considering it funny, one is trivializing the original event. If you want to make fun about Hitler you have to measure up to Charlie Chaplin, and that is satire and a completely different league.

I will probably head up this afternoon to escape the fire (I am evacuated and can't get back home anyway). The Hot Creek down by the airport is fenced off since at least three years now, due to erratic mud eruptions (witnessed one myself). - Thomas
