The actual town is Ortonville, on Big Stone Lake in Big Stone county, sorry for the confusion. I thought the lake would be more familiar, bad assumption in the land of 10,000 lakes. Bigwavedave hardboots are the only type I own, gave up my skis about 8 years ago. Though watching Softbootsailer at 2015 SES tempted me to get a softboot setup. made my first atempt at carving last week @ Blue. Mnt. didn't go as well as I had hoped, attempted turning as explained on extreme carving video clips / rotating upper body then waiting for the board to follow, should I be appling my weight on the front foot, or kicking the the board out with my rear foot, or balanced on both? any advice would be appreciated thanks eric
