  1. Mid Dec, I think the 17-20th? Will be PGS and BoarderX again. They put on a great show last year. Come on out and check them out. Any carvers give me a shout. We usually have a group ride together every Sat morning.

    newcarver,

I need to plan on coming next time. Missed it last winter.

PS I count on some pics and info like last year. ;)

  2. Je suis zero auditif et 100% visuel.

    AMK, j`attends une suggestion ?

    Salut nitros!

    Je ne suis pas douee avec les noms mais je prefere les noms faciles;

"Mojra" - "le destin" en Grec.

Au fait, J' adore le design. Dis a Bruce qu' il a fait un super boulot. :biggthump

  3. No football here AMK. Just got a delivery from Bruce :1luvu: and it's all I can think about, let along talk about !

anything from Bruce studio I can talk about all night long... even 5 nights. ;)

    what did you got???Pics!

  4. 'Maybe the girls don't want to "hang out" on BOL because it is such a male dominated sport, or maybe they want to talk about something else besides snowboarding once in a while!'

    What else is there ?

    Oh that's right :eek:Boobies, I forgot..........

    jp1,

I might have to do what Aisling did if all what I will hear will be football, carving, toe side, hill side, cars, specks, more beer please, what for dinner...;)

  5. Funny, last year was more or less similar thread about food at resorts.

And I think we all can say its a lot about fried something or burger:barf:.

East Coast resorts food is suck! From 14 of them I found one with OK food, I was even happy with it ( Mt Stowe). I'm organic food fan, not easy there.

CO and UT so far my best experience.

  6. Right now I'm thinking just finish.

That is the reasonable goal. And the back up goal :) 3.50? Yes?

You had great time on half and I will look forward to have pace goal but you never know what can happen on the race day.

I'm slowly and silently thinking of doing one as well. Have no idea how pavement taste after 19 M. I will give my legs and head a bit of time for it.

13.1 its my new love. Before the first half my good friend told me "to run smart race and there would be plenty opportunity to run fast races after getting some experience" ( he have six marathons all under 3.30 and last one in DC 3.24).

But are we all sooner not later like to see some good time on the clock?

Crossing my fingers and best of luck.

  7. Thanks! 54 is still plenty respectable for 10k, many people struggle to break that 1 hour mark. I am sure you will get to your goals with your attitude.

Nice of you to say so but 54 for its average :(, and its what I got at this point. I haven't start pushing yet, have to watch on my knee. So yes, I'm looking forward to better pace. What is your goal for first marathon?

    :)

  8. Thanks again for your support, Anna! We had good weather for the run and it was a lot of fun. Garmin says the course was a bit short: 9.8 km in 44:40. So I'm still not quite breaking 45 for 10k - next time!

    Glad to hear that.

You are way closer to 45 min if I'm. I have like 9 to take down to it. ;(

Hard work. Hard. But looking forward to it and I know soon.

PS congrats on nice half marathon time.

    Cheers

  9. If she's the same stance of you, you can always spoon on the t-bar or chair lift.

Have no experience here but sounds great. Have to try.

PS at SES its only 10 lovely lady's?! What? This year 11. :)
