  1. Bluebird day, no crowds, very nice!

Softening frozen in the morning, but turning slushy even before lunch... Crappy conditions on Midway, but very nice on PGS! T33 of Sky Chair and Horizon of Lions looked good but we didn't go. Raven 1 looked crappy of the road (no go).

    Toys of the day:

Scooby: WCRM 177 1st gen with Vist, WCRM 177 full carbon, Coiler Classic 179 metal.

Blueb: Kessler 171/22.5 with Kessler Risers, Nidecker Proto 167

Scooby seemed happiest on the WCRM full carbon...

New Kessler is a crazy board, designed with less taper then normal Kes creations. Holds the turn to completion way easier, sometimes even too hooky (soft snow). Wonderful freecarver, one of the best I've tried. Risers seem to work pretty well too.

I had a huge a weird wipe-out on the Nidecker. I was testing VERY soft plate bindings and ste them to very loose. Resulting lack of control caused the downhill edge catch, catapulting me into a backwards 180 flip (air involved), landing on my shoulders and back, bouncing of int another 180 airborne flip and landing into toe side carve. It knocked the living wind out of me... Retightening of the bindings resulted in good ride. Huge contrast to Kessler: Super light vs. heavy, livlely vs. damp, turny vs. stable...

sweet "mama alabama" - RT and BlueB more pics please.

  2. Had the sickest experience yesterday:

Two local ex-racers too me down a psychotic pipeline trail for a few runs yesterday. Just 3 minutes down the road from Mt. Peter, two cars, hike in from the Appalachian Trail at the top of Mount Peter.

Never knew there was anything so steep and rideable so near NYC.

I'm at my desk in the city and my legs are still shaking.

man, I went to VT. That was something; carving board on powder:eek::freak3:. Lots of digging out and getting that snow from my HB's. But got myself some snow fun, very little real riding.

    WORKOUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:biggthump

  3. Never mind James Bond good lookin drivin these, above 100MPH/160KMH:1luvu: their face wud melt (Check vid minutes 3.11). Reason the honky tonk driver just drive 30MPH if not slower around town/beaches:rolleyes: Like those people in winter resort with well known/fancy winter suit & gears (nice lookin thou):p and don't know how to play and sit around cafe ;) All their gears always shiny and clean from snow all day. And they always smell good not like us :barf: from sweat and 3 mth unwashed gears if not more:D

More hot design on Off Topic "Ariel Atom".

I would like to see James Bond face wud melts or Ch.Bale as Batman; that would be just funny till to tears. 30 mph around the beach - well maybe, but since

I don't get tan just bern like a lobster I don't know what pretty boys do there. But I have been dieing to see land speed record breaking on Black Rock desert.

    I fallow Ed Shadle's steps for a bit. Just idea of riding anything faster that 750 mph is crazy to me. Go check sweet American Eagle automobile;

that is just what I call 6th level of engineering. :biggthump;)

  4. Heh, yes, that's Polish Tom :)

He also took the footage of me during the split screen segment (where it has the view from my knee-cam in the lower left at the same time Tom is filming me from the side of the run). You can see every time I am pointed straight at the camera that there's a little orange Tom in the middle of the knee-cam view :)

I did have a look again on it. Aspen is so sweet and your riding guys.... fun to look. I was asking for Tom because I'm Pol to so just to hunt him down next year :). PS you guys rock the slops!
