  1. Please note that I have transferred ownership of my Banquet ticket to Rob Case.

My wife has forced me to fly to Kirkwood, CA for snowboarding activities. (She is in Vegas on a business trip). May be a little warm and slushy, the snow I mean. I'll miss seeing u Carvers !! Last time I went to an ECES I won one of Jasey Jay Anderson's World Cup race winning boards from Bruce Varsava/Coiler.

Looks like I need to regain control of the marriage !

    Thanks, Bricky

  2. What is the best base edge file guide ?

Seems like a file guide should span the whole width of the board, past the edge on the other side to adjust for a concave base problem. (If you have a convex base problem, you need a base grind). So the metal base file guide should be at least 20-23 cm long for a carving board and a lot more for a wider board. TOGNAR? SVST? SWIX?

Why use a base edge file guide which only reaches a small/partial distance across your Snowboard base?

    Thanks, Bricky

  3. In the last few weeks, I have been telling people who inquire, to watch the Snowboarding Slalom/PGS racing at the SOCHI Olympics, but must look at the broadcast scheduling because they will probably have to set a DVR or VCR to record it in the middle of the night/early morning, because it won't be broadcast during primetime.

  4. Plattekill, Friday,

Would like to have an update on this from the organizers. Is it going to happen? I am planning to attend, but there have been some negative posts. It's plenty cold, so we should have a good time. I don't want to waste an hour of driving from Windham x2. Lift tickets are $20.00, it's rider appreciation day!!!!!

Why not come to Windham on Sat. and Sun. and ride with me, after Plattekill?

Oops! This post is apparently from '13. I guess I will stay at Windham on Friday thru Sunday.

    Thanks, Bricky
