    Prior 4WD - 174

I only rode this board twice, but I'm the second owner. It does not appear to have been machine tuned - the edges measure ~2mm in thickness. I'll try to contact the previous owner for more definitive answers...

    Prior 4WD - 174

I've tried my best to document all imperfections. The weirdness on the base pics is the lighting.
  3. Prior 4wd 174 in great condition. Waist - 21.4 SCR - 10 SOLD!
  4. Looking for a black top Kessler 171
  5. There's a bit more to this story... I believe most of this relates to the events at my local hill, crystal mountain. We tragically lost a skier this year - Paul Melbey. Presumably in a tree well, somewhere in bounds. Just a few days after the search was sadly called off for Paul, a skier ducked a boundary rope, got lost, and called for help. This guy was told that he would be responsible for any search/rescue costs. After agreeing, an extremely tired crew of patrollers went out and retrieved him. How did this guy repay the exhausted ski patrol for fetching his sorry tail out of harms way? He skipped out on his bill... I believe it's this 'me first', selfish attitude that spurred this bill... In the end though, I feel that we should all be responsible for our own actions. Ski with a buddy. Know where you're going. Evaluate avalanche danger, etc. I believe this bill was proposed to protect those responsible, ski patrol/search and rescue. Not the jerk that ducks a rope, calls for help, and skips out on his bill. Sorry for the rant
  6. I bought this earlier this year still in the plastic. Only rode it a couple of times. SOLD
  7. The plastic is pretty stiff. If you're familiar with UPZ boots, it is a bit softer than the red/soft tongue material. These do noticeably stiffen the boot up. This is the main reason I switched them out for thermos.
  8. The 6.5's measure 10 1/2 inches along the bottom of the sole (~26.6cm), and the 6's measure just a little over 10 1/4" (26 cm). Interesting... I actually asked Dan specifically about this and he said they were identical other than the markings. I never bothered to measure until now.
  9. Salomon Malamutes - Size 10 / Mondo 28 Used one season. Still tons of life left in these boots. The heel on the right (rear) boot started to pull away due to getting hung up in my flow bindings. I cut away the 'flap' and sealed them up with weatherstrip adhesive (see pic below). Asking $125 shipped, OBO
  10. Deeluxe Speed-TF 'red' liners - mondo 26 These were molded once, just too much volume. I really wish they had worked out. They're really nice. Asking $150 shipped, OBO UPZ FLO liners mondo 26 (labeled "6 1/2") I used these for half a dozen days with my RC10s. Switched these out for thermo liners. SOLD, Thanks Bora! [ UPZ FLO liners mondo 26 (labeled "6") Brand new, never used. Asking $75 shipped, OBO Older Raichle thermo liners - mondo 26 Well used. I have no idea how many times these have been molded Asking $40 shipped, OBO
  11. SOLD Deeluxe 700Ts Size - mondo 26 Includes BTS with soft and medium springs. Liners have been molded once These boots have been ridden about 40 days, and show signs of use but are in overall good shape. Asking SOLD + shipping, OBO
  12. I believe that the yellow e-rings are softer than blue. yellow=soft blue=medium red=stiff When I used TD3 bindings I ran the blue rings. At 150lbs I felt no need for the softer/yellow rings.
  13. I've only owned one Option board. It just happened to be a bit older. I wouldn't know if quality deteriorated. That does seem to be the trend with most mass produced boards though...
  14. 4-162 Option Vinson-older?-good shape + Ride (?) bindings-$200 This is one of my all time favorite softy boards. I've never ridden mine (2005?) with hard boots, but I've been on the lookout for a replacement for a few years now. Mine is trashed, and used only for early/late season at this point.
  15. Flywalker- please enable email through your profile, or give me a shout through mine...

    Coiler AM VSR

165cm Coiler AM VSR 10.5m average sidecut Built for a 145lb rider Sidewall markings read - T165 SLC 010BS1 6.1+5 I am the second owner, and have put approximately 6 days on it this season. Board is tuned and ready to ride. SOLD!
  21. Thanks for the interest, but I'm going to have to pass for now. I really only ride soft boots on powder days anymore. I might be interested in trading for another powder board though.
  22. I just listed my 5'5" here: http://www.bomberonline.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=32579
  23. No worries, I think the dupraz shape just isn't for me... How did the SG (soul?) turn out?
  24. Dupraz lists the width at the back inserts as 26.4cm. I measured at the narrowest point and it's right at 25cm. They do not specify sidecut radius, but it is tight. I'd estimate ~8m. More information can be found here: http://www.dupraz-ch.com/index.php?topgroupid=3&subgroupid=120&groupid=51
