I've had my hands on some Thirst boards for a couple of weeks. The XC is the one I've been riding the most. I've been using it on the steep narrow runs at Schweitzer . It's a great board for that. It's nimble and turny and it doesn't take a lot of room to get it moving uphill to control your speed.
Todays conditions where as icy as it gets around here. Frozen corduroy. The board handled great. Most the time I couldn't believe it was working. I can see where someone back east might like this board where the snow is firmer and the runs are shorter. You can really get in a groove making tight turns with this board.
I'm going to get one for carving the steeps.

I'm tagging along on a ski trip to Targhee riding Sun24th Mon25th. I'd love to take a few runs with some local Carver's.

Today was the perfect day. Great visibility, flawless grooming and nobody in the lift line.

Looks like I'm getting lucky with the weather. I'm leaving my powboard at home. I'll be riding Monday Tuesday morning.

Wow. You rode more this year than I have in the last 4 or 5 years. Nice!
Dang dude, are you saying I should be better? That's the second time I've heard that. Earlier this season I was carving with dkp and neuroto and neuroto told us that if he rode every day he would be too good to ride with us.

There will be 2 N. Idaho carvers on your mountain tomorrow. Hopefully we won't get caught up in any of that legal drug usage you have in your state
-
Mostly your Oxess . If your MK was here I'd like to do a side-by-side comparison with the Thirst XC
