  1. Hi Bubba, Still got those race plates? and more importantly, how'd you hit the waterfowl? If you have the plates, what would the shipped price be? Thanks.
  2. Stratton Competitive Snowboard Team run by Al Messler, trains Friday through Sunday, from Thanksgiving all the way to USASA nationals in April. We also train both Christmas and February holidays, 7 days a week. Generally we have somewhere around 20 athletes, ranging from beginners to national champions. Gate training is done mornings, then in afternoons we generally train boardercross or slopestyle. We currently have 6 kids in hardboots (all qualified for nationals) and couple of prospects for next year. Find us on the Statton web site. Go to programs and then look for us under "snowboard competition team". Thanks, and good luck to all at Copper!

  8. Looking for a Bts. system with blue springs hopefully , but for the right price would buy a set-up and get new springs from bomber. Thanks
  9. Anke, If you are serious about wrist protection then take a good hard look at a company called Allsport Dynamics. I've been looking at and worn many different models from several manufacturers. None come even close to Allsports function or fit. Many pro teams and action sport pros wear them . You will pay more for them, but what is the cost of a broken or injured wrist. Not to mention downtime and rehab. Take a look at there web site allsportdymaics.com. Good luck
  10. Boarder Ted , Thank you for the seamless transaction. Super fast shipping, a real pleasure doing business with you.
  11. Hello , would you be willing to sell a pair of 4-hole discs, and a pair of heel bails?
  12. Bullwings, Thanks for the reply, I'm seeing the Dr. next Monday to discuss all this . My problem is Fibula pain when running of an unexpected stomp (plate and 4 screws). i don't believe the Tibia is any source of the pain (I have the same rod setup), but your comment on rebreak scares the hell out of me. I just can't seem to act my age and get away from snowboarding or dirtbikes or just plain old stress relieving activities. My wife is horrified , and my son is faster than me. Don't care for either scenarios. Hope you don't mind but I'll probably be asking more questions. Thanks Again:cool:
  13. Hey bullwings, I have had a similar a similar break and am currently making appointments with the Doc. to have a plate taken off of my Fibular. ( because of pain) I was thinking about leaving the rod in the Tib. because it does not seam to bother me . What is you projected rehab? Crutches? snowboarding this December? Thanks for the thread . Love to hear what your thoughts are.
  14. Hello All, I'm looking for and old article about foot position and mechanics of an alpine turn that was posted last year. I believe it was written by Jack Michaud. It gave several variations of turns . (over under, toe lift ???) Thanks
  15. He's in the Stratton competetive snowboard program. Started out at the very end of last season on hardboots and took to to it right off and liked it so here we go!
  16. :) Thanks Everyone , he has several coaches on his team , 2 or 3 that are alpine racers . I was just trying to set his board up at home to get him started . the coaches can tweak the adjustments. I have not been able to sit down w/the coaches yet as the season just started and his first day was last Saturday. So i turned to you guys for some preliminary advice and knowledge. S.S.Dad ;)
  17. :o XX , Great advice! thanks , what's your opinion on rear foot cant Ihave a complete Burton plate system with the harware and plastic lift( wedge) You always there to save the uninformed? S.S.Dad
  18. Hello , I'm setting up my sons slalom board for the new season. (tomahawk 160 , Burton plates). I'd really apprecatiate what you folks think are good binding angles to start with. ( front and rear foot) He's 14 and about 140 Lbs. and just got his feet wet last year in hard boots. What about heel lift on the back foot ?? Do the angles change when you switch to a GS.board?? Ya I know , I don't know nothing!!!!! S.S.Dad:confused:
  19. Thanks for the info guys. Will do.
  20. Hello , Can anyone help me with the sidecut radius spec for a 160 tomahawk sl board ? It was given to us by a member of the US Snowboard team. I believe it is 1-2 years old. I contacted Sigi (US) and they were not much help. Don't want to ask the previous owner (gift horse in the mouth thing!!) Thanks S.S.Dad

  24. Hello, I'm looking for advice on wheels and trucks for a long board that I am making for my son. I am not looking for race, (hp) state of the art set up. What i'd like is some good quality equipment to put on a home made wooden deck, so he can rip around in the summer time. X-mas is coming ,and I need to get all the goods so that i can assemble. Also the name of the shop or mail order where I can purchase. Thank you S.S. Dad
