Anyone on here riding Lovy tomorrow (Friday)? Sorry, not ready for weekends yet.

I like Winter Park but it may not be the best for carving
Winter Park is great for mid week carving. The infamous TVR showed me where to go many years ago. I Have a Ikon Pass and can get you a discounted ticket if you want to try it. Can get 20k vertical in 3 hours.

Hi Arne,
Did you look at stem cells for the knee, or was totally trashed?
Left knee arthritis is making itself known this Summer...
Trashed, After 4 scopes, it was bone on bone. Need to have some cartilage for it to work. No problem riding a board, a little stiff riding a bike.

Zimmer total hips 2006 and 2011. Raced Nastar and USASA from 2005 to 2015. Ski and ride about 50 days a season. No problem with hips. Even with a few hard falls on the hips. Total knee in 2016 gives me more issues due to limited range of motion. Hip replacements in September, on the snow in December. Other than going thru airport security, don't really notice the hips.
Asked my Dr. what her thought would be easier on the knees. He said he didn't know because he didn't ski. He said try both and see. We talked about getting him on a carving board.

I always wondered why people use heel lift on the back foot when you already have 11 degrees built in. Will continue to run flat on back foot and increase lift on front foot. Thanks for providing that information.

Missing the band of Misfits... and those apres’ toasts! Be well guys. Aspen this Thursday-Sunday. Going to Hook up with some other carvers while there.
I am heading there tomorrow. Riding Wed to Friday. Trying out the apex stealth on the Virus Revolution soft boot carving board. Aspen is a lot closer than Turner.

guy shouts up to me from under the lift that I am on and yells, "I want to snowboard like that". I said" go to the alpine snowboarder forum".

Angles are measured such that 0 degrees is straight across the board. Soft boot angles are typically under 30 degrees and hard boot angles typically over 45 degrees. So when you say you are more comfortable at a high angled stance but have regressed to soft boots I am a little confused, I think you are measuring angles 90 degrees out of sync with the rest of the snowboarding world.
You are correct. I rode with John last week. He does ride much better with the lower angles of soft boots, even tho the soft boots and bindings are stiff ones.

@arneburner, sorry just out of curiosity, why did you get a pair of RC11 when you have the RC10? Just curious as an RC10 owner.
Better Buckles, and swing away tongue for easier entry and exit. The 11's are a little stiffer due to the carbon upper cuff. don't need to tighten the forward spring. They also seem a little lighter. Also preferred the blue to the bright green.

Selling because I have a new pair of upz rc11 boots. I also have a narrow heel. They fit great with Palu liners. Not very well with stock liners. The stock liners come with pads that allow you to adjust the fit.

How well did these fit you? Where did it feel big/small? I got super skinny heels. Why are you selling them? I'm interested
I also have a narrow heel. They fit great with Palau liners. Could not get a good fit with stock liners. Selling because I have a new pair of UPZ rc11 boots.
