  1. See y'all tomorrow mornin, first runs of the year! Should be good- Karl's got me set up on a shiny red F2. (His and hers... it'll be adorable.) Hope there aren't cow patties all over the hill...
  2. Yes seriously thanks to Buck Hill for making the day so fun, especially the man in the booth at the top who kept complimenting my "picnic" pants (sorry Trent i think i got the last pair, neenur neenur!) Big, big thanks to Bobble and Ben for the video too- there's nothing Scuff likes better than showing our family my risky behavior on snowboards... and wakeboards... and longboards........ It's cool though, definitely turned out to be a fun fall. The applause from the spectators wasn't bad either! You guys are all so fun. Keep an eye on Scuff for me and we'll both see you out on the hill soon.
  3. What is up!! I can't make it this Sunday- one last day of running on the big hills at Battle Creek- but next week i am SO there!! Looking forward to falling down the hill after y'all. Happy open season!!:D
  4. Oh I'm so proud of our Minnesotans.... Karl got 10th in open GS! And Mimi got FIRST in open GS! (but we're not really surprised are we?) Way to go, you guys!!! http://www.usasa.org/images/stories/nationals08/results/Day3Group5GS.pdf
  5. Just FYI everyone, Karl got 14th in open class slalom yesterday at USASA nationals! He said he had 2 solid runs on some pretty weird groomed powder that actually held up ok. Nice course. Hard to balance going way fast vs not falling. He said he saw a pretty wicked fall in the open class womens race; a blow-through-the-barrier, end over end type of situation. Guess she walked away though! Yikes. And, he's proud of all the kids- some from his team are placing, doing really well. Open class GS is today... he'll bust out the kessler for this one. :D Will keep you posted. Open class slalom results are at http://www.usasa.org/images/stories/nationals08/results/Day2Group5SL.pdf Can watch the live awards ceremony (so you'll just see the top 3 people in each event) at www.go211.com under the USASA link, starting at 5:30 pm every day this week, which is kind of fun. Note that if you want to watch they make you register first so give it a few minutes beforehand if you want to catch it right at 5:30.
  6. NICE, bobble (and greg of course)! And actually i kind of like that his arms don't match... almost looks like he's flapping them... BobD maybe you could bring back Mrs Grouch's picture like once a year, right before christmas as a treat, just so we remember her bringing you all so much joy.:p
  7. He's right... she IS pretty darn cute...:D
  8. Bobble just so you know, Karl and i totally analyzed the videos you took of all of us, so next time you see me boarding i should be either falling a lot or markedly improved. You be the judge  Also, glad to hear you had a great time in the freakin' cold weather wednesday. Good for you, i BET It was awesome!! Y'all, we won't be 'round these here parts on Sat or Sun because Karl is racing at Giants Ridge this weekend and i'm heading up to cheer him on Sunday morning. Have fun! Supposed to be warm, hope it's not too crowded for you guys. PS, BobD- thanks again for the pic- recognize it here? :D

Thanks Trent! Had a great time today. I enjoyed the snow, though had a hard time actually seeing it sometimes. Looking forward to seeing the pics- thanks Mike! And by the way did anyone find out if Steve made it home ok?? Nice seeing y'all out there- thanks for letting me hang out with all your awesome-ness. I like to think maybe your carving abilities will rub off on me. Missed the Bobs but maybe the whole fam will get together next year? And yes that's right- i'm a girl, and i'm posting on your thread. HAHAHA look out bomber here i come!!!:D -Jessie (aka Mrs Scuff)
