  1. Burn all my 2008 vacation days on the mountains of BC and Alberta the end of Jan, start of Feb. Snowboarding with a road trip on the side, it might look like this: Silver Star, Revelstoke, Kicking Horse, Sunshine Village/Banff, Panorama, Fernie, Red Mountain, Big White. I usually go to Whistler every year, so probably a week with a former roommate who still lives there. Failing all that, I could be stuck in Ontario, boo. . . .
  2. Talk about topic drift. Originally started on first motorcycles :D Here's something I didn't see on Honda of America's website. In Canada, it's targetted towards the new rider: CBR125R I don't think new riders would ride it for too long, but Honda Canada certainly is targetting it towards the new rider. Listed at $3,400 CDN. I could see something like this to be very useful for commuting in the heavy city traffic, especially Toronto's traffic, the City of Bad Drivers in the Province of Onterrible Drivers. . .
  3. I like my "rain gear." The seems start to bleed after a couple of hours in the rain haha. Ah well, commuting on the bike is great when I get up at 5am. Only 33 km on way though. Not much traffic and our city passed a by-law: motorcycles park for free at street metered parking!
  4. ATGATT for me.Eventually I stopped trying to ride in gear as if it were allseason got textile mesh jacket and pants for the hot weather. Riding to work during a public transit strike on the hottest day last summer convinced me. Textile jacket and pants with liners for the fall and winter. Gloves have me stymied though: either comfortable for the weather, or durable but not both at the same time. . .
  5. I guess we're all adrenaline junkies eh? Haha :D The 650R is a great bike to ride; should be fun for a long time. My '03 VFR800 in touring trim in Lassen Volcanic National Park. Last summer, I rode her from Toronto, across the US to California, up to Vancouver and Whistler last summer. My first bike was a Yamaha Mate 50cc, then when I returned, I got a Ninja ZZ-R250. Now the VFR.
