  4. I would be glad to take them with the 0*/3* cants. Please email me at backer22 at comcast dot net. thanks, Brian
  5. I am similar height/weight as yourself (5'11"/155lb) and picked up a 169cm 4WD for my first season on hardboots. I soon discovered the board was a bit too stiff for me. Switching to a 159 4WD made a HUGE difference in that I could flex the board sufficiently at moderate speeds. I think choosing overly stiff boards is a common mistake for newbies. So if you go by the mfg's suggested weight range, you want to be well within the upper end of the range.
  6. Does anyone know of videos showing good technique on icy steep runs? Not that I plan on charging down black diamond boilerplate any time soon, but sometime it pays to dream big :) --Brian
  7. Hi Loc- Nice meeting you the other day at Sugarbowl. I did see some of your tracks up on Jerome Hill - crisp and clean, looks like you were having a good time! Too bad the afternoon was so slushy. The next day we went over to Boreal at the suggestion of my boys. Didn't have great expectations for the day but it turned out to be one of the best days I have had. The snow held up real well, softened up but never turned too slushy. There is a decent carving run on Lost Dutchman (next to the boardercross run). I also had a great time following my kids on the boardercross run (your ATV would rip there). The lift is old and slow but it gave my 51 year old legs a chance to recuperate between runs. --Brian

  9. I bought these on ebay last spring. The size was advertised as 28.5 but they came with with 29.0 liners and they are a bit large for me. So here they go... Lower shell marked "29-29.5" Upper shell marked "28-30.5" Tongue marked "28-29-30" Liner is marked "29" and is the standard 123 liner Boots have the usual scuff marks. All hardware seems to be in fine condition, but I don't know for sure as I never had these out on the slopes. Of course, replacement hardware is available on BOL. Asking $75 + shipping.
  10. I have available one Kirkwood lift ticket voucher good until the end of the 2007 season (through April 30). On mountain price is $67, asking $40. Please email me at backer22@comcast.net
  11. Looking for some TD-1 3 degree cants with bumpers. Also looking for TD-1 topsheet protector disks (sandwich between board and cant, along with associated bumper washers). You can email me at backer22@comcast.net Thanks, Brian
