  1. I have a 168 F2 Speedster RS in really good shape. My friend hopped on it one afternoon, his first time in hardboots, and after 3-4 runs started to get the hang of it. In the morning i had been riding it almost as hard as I could. Just saying it can be as much board as you need without it kicking your ass if you arn't having a good day. It's stable because it's longer than a SL board and it has a 13m scr. but it also turns because of the softer nose and tail... here is the link to the classified http://www.bomberonline.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=25658
  2. I have a 168 Speedster RS. It's in perfect shape so it might not be a good candidate to be a rock board... here is a link to the bomber classified i have it listed under http://www.bomberonline.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=25658
  3. I have last year's 185 SG Race.T with plates for sale... and it's regular. check it out http://www.bomberonline.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=25657
  4. I've got a 168 F2 Speedster RS. It fits your description except for the SCR. It's 13m... The thing about the board is, the softer tip and tail let you really crank turns. I was matching tracks of guys riding 162 Coilers with 9.8m radii check it out http://www.bomberonline.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=25658
  5. I've got two boards for sale that might be of interest, here are the links http://www.bomberonline.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=25658 and http://www.bomberonline.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=25660
  6. This board has plenty of life left. Probably one of the liveliest boards i've ridden, just behind a 4 month old 162 Coiler Honestly, the top looks beaten, but the rest is pristine.
  7. waist is 18.2cm camber is 4-5mm
  8. Hey guys, I'm selling my 2003ish Nidecker Proto board. It is an SL board that was not a production model from what i can tell. Very lively board, still rides nicely, just have to be on your game or it will buck you. The base is in perfect condition, got it ground early january. Have not ridden it this year. The top is fairly scratched. Has been patched where the topsheet had chipped. Selling it for cheap. 150CAD + shipping. Specs... 163 Length 9.8m SCR This board just doesn't have a spot in the quiver anymore, it's been replaced and i need to fund a camera acquisition...
  9. Ok, I'm selling my 06/07 168 F2 Speedster RS Great board, my first real carving board. One of my favorites but i can't keep it. Didn't even get out on it this year, It's been bumped out of prime position by my SG boards. Perfect condition, base is spotless, never ground. One minor chip in the tail, will not affect performance, ever. Anyways, specs are... 168 length 19cm waist 13m scr Quadrax glass X-core w/ softer tip and tail I'm asking 400CAD + shipping but it is negotiable
  10. Hey guys, I'm selling my 185 SG Race.T w/ hangles Bought this board nearly new from a teammate. It was his "race" board from last year, so it was only actually used on race days. He had identical training boards. There are probably about 15 days total on this board. The board is mint except for a 3 inch scratch in the base. It is very minor, just enough to feel a minor bump if running a finger nail over it. It wouldn't show up in pictures... i tried. Anyways, here are the specs. Overall Length 1850mm Running Length 1560mm Nose Width 242mm Waist 200mm Tail Width 231mm Setback 20mm Radius 18.5m Original price: 1350(board) + 500(hangles) Asking price: 900CAD + shipping It may seem like a beast of a board on paper, but it's actually very rideable. I'm a 150 pound 18 year old, and it was fine, just have to ride it hard. The reason I'm selling it is to fund a new camera. I also have two other boards for sale, check them out
  11. What are you asking? in dollars, canadian dollars...
  12. About the angles... they look 60ish to me, at least for the hardboots. I run 50, 47 on my 20cm wide SG, if i had a 21cm wide board they would probably be 47, 43...
  13. whats with the crazy binding angles?
  14. I just got back from a week of revelstoke, silverstar and bigwhite. Had a blast, no fresh snow though... till 2 days after we flew back east
  15. Contact Pat Gaudet up in tremblant, you can reach him through the SG snowboard site. He has some raceboards used and new, from a few years ago, some samples he may be able to let go for a good price. are you looking to race slalom only because if you're going to use the next year or two to get used to carving it may be better to get a more all around board for now then either chose a discipline or buy GS and SL boards. I have a 162 Nidecker prototype for sale. as far as i know it's one of a kind. 175 + shipping... i live in ottawa I also have a 168 F2 Speedster RS, but if you've never been on a carving board it's probably too much board to learn on...
  16. i have a 162 Nidecker Prototype. 9.6m scr. great shape... 175 + shipping. so far as i know, it's one of a kind. just a really fun, lively board.
  17. i have a 168 F2 speedster RS for sale... let me know if you're interested
  18. I have a 163 Nidecker Proto with a 9.6m sidecut... $175 + shipping from ottawa, canada
  19. i know for sure that one of my boards simply wouldn't work on a blue run. at least not in a fun way. my 185 is easier to ride on a black run than a blue, not possible to carve on a green, unless it's 1 turn after every 200m of straight-lining... going fast is just more fun for me. i think i hit 55-60 on my softboots last friday... it was a rush, i did that run at least another 5 times...

It's a subtle movement, nothing excessive, but it keeps your shoulders inline with the hill. it should not impact rotation. it's more keeping your arm out away from your body than pointing it in any direction

one thing i saw in the video was a bit of rotation on the last toeside, looked like you were facing towards the nose too much. the best thing i've found for keeping your hands in front of you is a piece of pool noodle, like the floaties kids play with in the pool. nice and soft, wont break or break you if you fall on it. when using it, try pushing your arms in the opposite direction of the turn. like a goofy heelside, you push the bar forward and to the left. just make sure it's only your arms and that you arn't bending at the waist...
