  2. I ordered an Incline from Sean as soon as he started to build them with VSR & Decambered nose & tail.

It is an Incline/Wide with a 26cm waist, 9-11m VSR & the old-school white topsheet with the crown Donek Logo, my very first "New" board that was built for me.

At first, I was riding this board with bindings & freestyle boots from about 10 years ago, with & without Palmer Risers, and it just did not feel right. I just didn't have enough support & leverage to fully utilize the flex & shape of the board.

Prior to this season, I invested in some more recent bindings & a pair of Salomon Malamutes, and my oh my, what a difference a stiffer interface makes in the performance of this board. The board can rip both short & longer carves with confidence, has a nice "pop" off the tail inbetween turns, initiates turns with ease, and I don't bother with the risers any more.

This board is a keeper. You will not see this board in the "For Sale" section anytime soon!

  3. Was there from 830a, condition was quite nice today, the entire width of Snowpark was groomed & they received 3 inches of fresh snow past night. It did warm up a bit & slowed a bit, but really had fun turning all morning.

Have fun to tomorrow! It should be another nice day!

  4. SOLD

    For Sale: Prior FLC 169W

Built in the summer of 2011, I'm the original owner, standard build, ten 1/2 days of use max, waist 21.5cm, sidecut: 11-13m. Board is in near new condition, never ground & edges were sharpened once, always waxed before use, but pics taken with dry base to show blems. Small mark from the toe bail on the right sidewall, small mark on base, both pics included.

Looking to sell, as there is another board that I'm dying to try.

Asking $700 Shipped CONUS, prefer not to ship to Canada & will not ship overseas.

  5. I grew up skiing, went to college in upstate NY in 92.

In winter of 93, both my roommate & friend happened to be Hardbooters, and as soon as I saw one of them putting down euro-carves on his 190 Rossi, I said I them I need to learn how to do "that". I spent a few weeks on a borrowed GNU Vertigo, and as soon as I was carving turns, I ordered a Sims Freecarve, and that was the true beginning of my hardbooting addiction :)

  6. Thanks to everyone for your replies!

We’re reaching out to Recruiters & contacts to see what we can dig up, but we were curious as to the overall legal market in the area.

We're just trying to feel out what the market looks like for Associate level attorneys (3-5 years experience out of law school). She has great credentials & focus on healthcare & IP/Trademark law, and experience working for the Federal Government within agencies that handle healthcare & insurance issues.</SPAN>

  7. Hello!

So, my wife & I are contemplating a move to the Denver area, as an opportunity arose for me at my current employer. I am very excited about the opportunity, both for professional reasons, and for selfish reasons as well...

We're starting to look into whether this is something that we can do at this time, but our main question & concern that we had was whether we can get my wife employed in Denver within a reasonable amount of time.

Can anyone give me an idea of what the job market in Denver looks like, both overall, as well as specifically in the legal field for associate level attorneys?

    Thanks!

  8. Something in the 168-175 range seems to suite most folks well if they are looking for a general freecarve board.

    +1

I think the 168-175 length is a good range for east coast conditions, although I would love something longer on days that I can really open it up!
