  1. Trebron -- Were you at Mt. Holly yesterday morning? I think I saw you in the parking lot (black (Dodge) Nitro with a gefilte fish?). You had already left for the hill when I figured out why your K2 with pink base was registering with me. I thought I'd be able to find you on the hill, but it turned out no (there were quite a few folks riding boards with pink bases, let me tell you).
  2. I'm a soft-booter, but I've ridden with hard-booters a few times. I'm in the Detroit suburbs and prefer Mt. Holly, but I'd be willing to meet up at Alpine Valley or Pine Knob. I've been to some of the places in northern lower Michigan, but I'm more likely to go to Bristol (near Rochester, NY) or Holiday Valley (near Buffalo, NY) for weekend trips. I'm not doing a lot of riding this season. I have a toddler at home, and I'm super busy at work until the end of February. I might be able to get out a bit more in March. Looking at my schedule, I'm thinking the next time I'll be on snow is Sunday, January 13, at Mt. Holly, morning session.
  3. Locally, I usually ride at Mt. Holly, but I was at Pine Knob on 12/8 for a few hours in the evening. I was surprised at how good the coverage was this early. Me, I'm a softbooter on a Donek Wide with a clear topsheet. Say hi if you see me!
  4. I'll be at Mt. Holly tonight, from about 6-9. Can't say I'll be the best company, though. I'm trying out some Flow bindings for the first time, so I expect I'll spend half the evening futzing around with them. Send me an e-mail if you want contact info.
  5. I've seen a few hardbooters at Mt. Holly too. Me, I'm a softbooter riding a Donek Wide 156 (clear topsheet). I generally ride there a handful of times each season, usually night sessions. Unfortunately I haven't been able to ride much at all this season. I might make it to Mt. Holly once or twice again this winter. Say hi if you see me!
  6. Thanks again for the carvers tour of Sunapee. I had a great time riding with you folks! Mike from the midwest
  7. Delurking, registering, and taking a leap... Wendell -- Did you and I take a few runs together at Sugarbush, one day between Christmas and New Year's? I was riding my Donek Wide (OK, I'm a soft-booter, but I lurk here at bomberonline) and you were asking about it because you were considering one of their carvers? If so, it's a small, small world! Good luck with your choice! -Mike
