    were no longer allowed in the bunyan room. we got thrown out of there last sunday for good. we meet at the south mountain pavilion at the usuall time.

    heres a briefing of what happend :boxing_sm:boxing_sm:boxing_sm

    some guy said something to enzo about his chicken legs. i took exception to that because i have chicken legs also. but before i could wrap the guys nose around his head, GUY FATHER came over my shoulder with a howlitzer right, and smoked the guy in the chicklets, then all hell broke loose it wa sa classic donnybrook, needless to say we phucked some $hit up!

    btw, the flushing worked with a stainless coffee creamer in the shower. not fun but it prevented the potential cold from sidelining me.

    it weeds out the week really fast. and if you keep coming back for more, it actually gets pretty entertaining for us.

    keep an eye out for booster2 aka lowell, I'll bet he can link some carving runs together for ya.

    Be careful with all the bisecting trails and catwalks, just slow down for the merges. Vail is a great hill for blasting around on the wide blue groomers. Take a side trip over to Beaver Creek, pref Bachelor's Gulch. You can just take the bus over to Avon/ Beaver Creek. Good Stuff, take lotsa pics for us.:biggthump

    I checked in with big bob a few days ago. He says he's got a generator but no water except melting snow. Plenny of firewood for heat.

    funny, he says it's nice to be able to just flush.

    Sadly, the Unitil power company really screwed the pooch on getting people's power back on and bob is a bit off the grid.

    Funny, I saw some skis like that the other day.

    yeah, my old dynastar course slaloms after the chicken hearts blew out, just duct taped over the holes.

    Annalena kinda reminds me of Tara Dakides before she got all tattooed and trendy.

    C'mon, I'm old enough to be her dad.

    Just interesting to see a Euro alpine ripper that doesn't look like a field hockey player, not that there's anything wrong with that.:cool:

    Skiers/riders can hop on in Southern New England.

    and have joined forces to offer the Loon Express twice a week this winter, beginning Jan. 4 on non-holiday Sunday and Friday mornings.

    The service runs from Providence, R.I. to Loon, stopping several places en route including Boston .

    Cost is $59.95 per person Fridays and $69.95 per person Sundays, and includes round-trip bus transportation and an all-day lift ticket.

    Reservations are required. Call New England Action Sports at (800) 477-7669.

    The first stop on the Loon Express is the University of Rhode Island, starting at 5:30 a.m. The Express will then stop at the NEAS Parking Lot in Warwick; Brown University; Rhode Island School of Design; and then head to Boston.

    Pick-up locations in Boston include the MBTA parking lot on Grove Street, St. Ignatius Church near Boston College in Chestnut Hill, and Boston University.

    The Express will leave Loon Mountain at 4:30 p.m. to return skiers and riders back home to Boston and Providence.

    Unlike many bus trips that are run to ski resorts, participants do not need to be part of a pre-existing ski club or group. Any individual, couple, or small group can make a reservation and take the bus.

    "We designed the Loon Express around the fact that a lot of our guests, especially college students, want to ski and ride at Loon, but don't have a car, or they are looking for a way to save on gas expenses," said Andrew Noyes, Loon Mountain Director of Sales.

    New England Action Sports runs similar day trips to other resorts around New England, listed on their Web site.

    good times at wachoo yesterday. cold , windy , great snow, no crowds, free.

    channel 5 had a heli hovering up top for awhile.
