    McD boots? naw. The Fires were great. They even had a quasi-BTS of their own.

    I'm half kidding. I've ridden the old blue reactors a fair amount, still have a freshy red white blue pair and they're just too stiff and not comfy at all(use them on the Burner 197 once in awhile). I'm sure the Fires and Boilers are more like my SBHs which I love but they're just low tech and a lil too soft. Rusty's old race sbh shells are still my fav boots.Stratos are a step up.

    Jack, are those new boots kinda a thin foot boot or can you widen the bladders for fat feet ? they look friggin schweet:biggthump

    that's awesome. How's the wife doing after her accident a few years back ? Still soaring ?

    This is really big in Brasil and I plan to learn eventually. The kitesurfing experience will hopefully flatten out the learning curve a bit.

    Also want to get certified to skydive. I've done a few jumps, static line and tandem and would love to be able to jump solo, 20+ second freefalls , all that.

    I've got a connection with with a school in Maine and just need to invest the time and $$ to do it. Great bunch of wacky folks that're into this stuff.

    Also wanna be a private pilot someday. :rolleyes: ultralight maybe ?

    Hangliding and skydiving 1st, then maybe a single engine Cessna.:cool:

    After trying to get Mrs carvedog to help out the snow situation in the Ullr thread on TGR she has adamantly refused to participate in any online shennanigans or photography of any kind.

    She does keep me very happy even if not putting the goods online. ;)

    it's not like she'd have to get nekkid for pics or anything like that. :p

    that was cool, thanks. we did some time lapse stuff in college just hanging out on a hill, partying, filming cloud movement, trippy stuff.

    they are ladies boots. I'm curious if I could get a boot like this for wifey to ski in and eventually get her on a Sims Carve2 or similiar board once she's confident. They remind me of my Nordica SBHs, vibram sole etc. I've actually skied in my SBH's, just as a goof while snowkiting but it worked. not really super safe but I threw a spread eagle and landed it without coming out of the binders.

    I'll ask Sinecure.
