Not a huge fan of Heinikin either, but I'll drink it. The best thing about heiniken though is that you can get it pretty much anywhere in the world.

I'm attempting to become a beer guy...
I'm currently enjoying Harpoon Hefeweizen UFO. Good Stuff. I tried Portsmouth Brewery's Dirty Blonde a few weeks ago and that was really good stuff. Nice and wheaty. Yum.

I have a UFO cap lifter on my keys, got it at the brewery during a tasting. Harpoon IPA is one of my fav everyday beers.

years ago dano found a liquor store in RI that had CASES upon cases of Breckenridge for like 7.99 a case, the stuff was definatly past it's prime but still drinkable. We'd stock up every time we rally'd down to Newport to surf.

as far as NASTY brews....Old Swillwaukee ICE 5.9% is pretty foul, steel reserve, king cobra, etc all that cheap 40 oz crap.

Haffenreffer " Green Death " is wicked nasty too but we'd swill it in high school. Remember Lowenbrau ? not bad when yer 16 ;)

my wife's dad speaks portuguese with an Italian accent and he moved from Sicily when he was 19, now he's 92. he speaks almost no english, same with her mom.

We were in Rome last year and wish we had more than 4 days to scope it out.

ironically, I scored 2 sweet Peroni etched glasses last night, the box says it's the official beer of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week

annalena, just go to Attach files when you post and click on Manage attachments.select a pic from your desktop, hard drive etc. there's a file size limit so big pics won't fit. the backup plan is go to a site like tinypic.com and upload your pic and then copy the link IMG*****IMG and paste it in your post. It's a lil tricky but I'll bet you can figure it out. I'll IM you on facebook the next time I "see" you online there.

back when I had a corp job at "THE PHONE COMPANY" in the 90's there was no such thing as big brother on our clunky old computers. Someone figger'd out how to load a golf game on a floppy disc and you could play hole after hole and just hit escape to quickly make it go away. As long as you crushed your quota, they'd leave you alone. I had a sweet corner cube with a big window (harbor view) and could see "the man"coming down the aisle waaay before he reached my cube.

my portuguese is pretty good, years of watching Globo and trying to figger out if the brasilians are talking about me cuz they're laughing so much. :confused:

coupla brasilian kitesurfing/dirtbiking buds of mine nicked named me "papagaio" cuz I'd always repeat what they said in portuguese with a funny voice all the time. Plus, I talk alot so "fala jamais" is my trademark.

you guys can thank me later for inviting annalena to our BOL world, she hadn't heard of us until I chatted her up on facebook the other day. I told her Alexa Loo was a member, might as well join the fray.

she's 19, so I'm sure nobodys gonna get in any trouble :rolleyes:

and yeah, my 13 year old seems a lot older for her age. She's travelled extensively and speaks fluent portuguese.

it won't be long before the boys will have to pass the Big Willy test, she'll be a freshman in high school next year.

Harpoon Leviathan Baltic Porter. Damn good if you like dark, strong, full-bodied beer. I'd put it up against just about anything in this class. Better than Dogfish Head Palo Santo Marron.

I think chubz handled it very well. I dunno if I would've been as PC. Having your kids with you and making a scene would've ruined your case.

I remember being at a YMCA in Bennington VT next to my gramma's house at like 11 years old and some creepy guy was soaping up kids backs in the shower. I was like...get the **** away from me :angryfire I went back to gramma's and told my dad about it and he went directly to the Y and made sure they understood was child molestation was. I'd already seen weird stuff at my home Y, after swim team locker room etc - that stuff creeps me out. I don't even go to the Y or any other health clubs anymore.
