Boot cant: SB423

After a day of carving on Saturday, a friend and I noticed that both our left boots were canted to the outside. Our right boots are centered. This is odd; neither one of us require canting of the boot, and our adjusters were tight before riding, and after we noticed the anomaly.

Stranger still: I ride regular, my friend rides goofy!

Is it possible that the extreme cold would cause the cant adjusters to become loose just enough for the boots to move?

Does anyone have suggestions on how to prevent this in the future? It doesn't seem to have hindered my riding at all, and I may have benefitted slightly from it.

FWIW: My bindings are set at 60/55 f/r with 6 and 3 degree cant/lift respectively.

Thanks!! :)
