RJ-PS Posted March 28, 2006 Report Share Posted March 28, 2006 I'd like to try my hand at kiteboarding and was wondering if anyone from the Bay Area (San Fran Bay) has any experience or recommendations on good shops/instructors. I'm coming from the valley so I can take the northern or southern route and get to whichever part of the bay is necessary. I'm taking this like snowboarding and renting/lessons before deciding I wanna go all in. I have thought about a trainer kite as they are cheap and it might help to be able to understand windows, depower, dragging, and other terms that I've not a clue about. I'd also be interested in other forums that have been helpful. So I'm open to making a few minor purchases if it will decrease the learning curve. Thanks for the help.
