I live in Brooklyn and i miss alps every weekend when i ride vermont. I am sure you will find great, wide, groomed slopes in Laax Just perfect to pick up carving. Who knows in Europe they may even have a carving class. Also you will meet more hardbooters. They are few more left in Europe.
