hiperfind
Hey all, Check out the default Snowboarder garb on the official Turino Olympic website. They could have gone freestyle on us, but alas, it's carving gear and stance! www.torino2006.org/ENG/OlympicGames/spirito_olimpico/animazioni_sportive.html Looks like The SES gets back just in time to relax, sharpen some edges, and catch the PGS Slalom on the 22 and 23rd. Sweeeet...
philfell
Sweet they put up the spec for a PSL not a PGS. The Olympics are run by a bunch of idiots, who know nothing of the actual sports. In the SLC 2002 Olympic Spectator Guide they mounted the bindings facing the tail for the pic on the PGS page. Sinecure
I like the way the little dots jump when you look at the animation of the BX. Cute.
Kent
Perhaps the best "mass media" attempt at describing our sport. Worlds beyond Delaney's pitch on TV....

AaronG
According to the snowboard descriptions all the folks here on BOL are riding too long of boards, max size is 175 cm according to them Olympic racers!! Who the heck is this "hiperfind" guy?? I've haven't seen him post on this site in about 4 years!!!
jayj
Also says "It uses plate bindings and hard boots for maximum flexibility" And here I thought these were supposed to be stiffer than a soft setup.

RJ-PS
I'm psyched it's on there! Any publicity is good publicity in my book! GO USA!
skatha
Swimming and gymnastics traditionally get big boosts in participation following the Olympics(at least, that's what I always heard when I swam AAU)...anyway, MAYBE alpine snowboarding will get a big boost this time, too... Sure, the boots don't look too realistic, and the board specs aren't either... BUT, the mainstream is having a look.... We are the ambassadors of our sport...it's time to smile sweetly and wave like a homecoming queen....
